Now this is one spot I would not pass up on. Beautiful inside and scenery is simple. This spot keeps it to a simple menu which is awesome as it makes your selections simple. Let me tell ya, I had to try two plates the Mexican hamburger which I have been craving and was delighted to have tried and this burger was phenomenal along with crinkled fries. The torta azada was my second plate and I really was blown away with this beautifully crafted torta. Portions on this bad boy are really really good and not chopped up small pieces like other locations and skimp out on the avacado which the carnitas was thick chunky slices. The kicker is the slice of ham which added more flavor. Now my wifes plate was the La gringa and lets just say you best come on a really empty stomach. Beans were delicious as well as the al pastor ( La Gringa quesadilla) which had really great flavor. San Antonians, please do not pass this spot up as you will be missing out on really delicious food placed on authentic Mexican dishes….YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!

Food and service are amazing….travel accross the state and this restaurant is among the best in true authentic Mexican food I have tried. Flour tortillas are made in house and taste great…..highly reccomend this place.

Some of the best real Mexican foods I’ve tasted here in San Antonio. Definitely will be coming back often when visiting San Antonio. I had the chilaquiles, don’t perfect. Love how they added the shredded chicken in it.. this is a must go for anyone that enjoys Mexican food.

The food tastes very good, and has a homemade flavor to it that I think is something we don’t see much in restaurants. The food does take a little while to come, but I think it’s worth it. My only gripe is the customer service. Its not bad necessarily, but I do wish it was little more proactive. Again not necessarily a bad thing, its laid back experience. It just something to note. Overall really love the food, and highly recommend.

The food is good. BUT very bad service!! My mother and I came to eat here. We sat and waited to be attended,no one came to give us a menu I had to get up and go get one! Someone else walked in right after we sat and one of the waitresses gave the other person a menu except for us. The ladies saw us walk in and didn’t bother walking up to our table. It took us almost an hour to get our plates while the person who walked in after we did received not only a menu but her drink and food first!

It’s baffling how high these people are rated. We have been waiting over an hour for our food and still have not received it. The whole time we’ve been here waiting, they have not even bothered refilling our drinks once. At one point, the lady at the register came over and tried to excuse the long wait time with attitude as if it was our fault. We will definitely not return here. Worst service ever.

Worst customer service Ever!!! So my sister ordered the chicken enchilada plate and was brought chicken enchiladas covered with yellow cheese and carne guisada sause. So I returned it back and I told her we wanted the chicken enchiladas which usually come with white cheese so she gets the plate and takes it back and then has the waitress come back and then wants to argue with me about I ordered the chicken enchiladas and that’s the way they come and I said it doesn’t specify on the menu what comes on I’m so why didn’t you specify what comes on the chicken enchiladas she goes well we’re going to charge you for the enchilada plate and to make another one. I don’t know how you wanna keep arguing when you were in the wrong as well at all we’re telling you that we wanted you to fix the order because that’s not what we wanted so then she send another lady and it was even worse with her they don’t wanna go ahead and fix the plate because we’re going to get charge for two plates now. The whole time she was putting her baby to sleep and there’s kids running in and out from the fridge grabbing milk and drinks and running back to the back so I don’t know if it’s a restaurant or a daycare and nobody was hand sanitizing their grabbing the babies and then grabbing the plate and serving them The waitress with the long black hair and has her baby there is super rude and needs to be trade on customer service and on her menu.. Definitely will not be going back therewill not be going back there ever
