The 1832 steakhouse inside Choctaw Casino offers a delightful dining experience. The fillet was cooked to perfection, accompanied by a loaded baked potato and creamy mac & cheese. The flavors were rich and satisfying. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere was elegant. Overall, a highly recommended choice for steak lovers.

A fantastic dining experience. Grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting. Bar tenders are true mixologists and putting out fantastic drinks. Live music in the bar was awesome and could be heard at dinner. Dinner service was good and I highly recommend the lobster bisque, crab cakes and mozzarella salad. Steak on point as well.

I have eaten at MANY upper-scale steak places. Superior’s Steakhouse in Shreveport, Perry’s in Dallas, Kirby’s, etc. None of them come close to 1832. We have made the trip once a year for the last three years for my birthday. EVERY SINGLE YEAR this place is just as good, if not better than the last.

We had the Alaskan Sea Bass, Risotto, Mac & Cheese and the filet & it was all superb! Wonderful Bloody Mary as well. It’s very pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

We had a good experience celebrating a friend’s birthday in the private dining room. The wait staff was incredible, professional, and attentive. Great drink menu, including wine options.

The food here is amazing! My steak was cooked perfectly! The whipped potatoes and asparagus are delicious! I only took a photo of these cute little veggies but you can see that amazing filet mignon in the background. Our server was on point, showed up right as we needed him and let us enjoy our meal. Reservations are a must, you can do them on open door but their open door menu is not updated. Go to their website to see the updated menu.

Excellent service with excellent food that comes out as ordered. The Chilean sea bass is my favorite and never disappoints. Large selection of wines and the bartender makes the cocktails perfectly. We love their creme brulee.

Hands down, this was the most expensive meal I have ever eaten, and as such, I expected it to be the best, most delicious meal. Unfortunately, for me, it was a big meh. The restaurant itself was very nice, lots of wood and windows, but I liked it. Our server was good, but seemed a little flustered with something that was going on behind the scenes. He was helpful with the menu and offered suggestions and gave details about any items we are curious about. We ordered lobster bisque as a starter and were brought a service of bread, which was very good. At that point we ordered the entrees and sides. I ordered the 32 oz beef rib and fried brussels sprouts. The soup was then served, it had a very tiny bit of lobster and cream then the soup was poured into the bowl. A little pretentious for me, but I suppose part of the price is the experience. The soup was good, but was extra fishy tasting, and I love fish, I think it was just getting old since we were in pretty late. Then the entrees were served, the rib looked great, and the side of sprouts was quite large, probably enough for two and was served in a side dish “family style”. The rib was also served with small a side of potatoes and brussels sprouts. The rib was ok, I’ve made much better beef ribs at home, the brussels sprouts were delicious. For dessert we had a peanut butter bar and I had a chocolate espresso martini. Both were fine. Overall, the food was good, but for about $150 per person, including tip, it just wasn’t exceptional, and for that amount, I want to be blown away.

I had the absolute best experience ever! The food here is so good. I’ve eaten at the best statehouses Dallas has to offer and in my opinion 1832 blows them out of the water. Our waitress Randi was on point and even remembered my family’s names. The manager Jeff is so awesome as well. Always makes me feel like a king. I’ve eaten here many times and they never have disappointed. I highly recommend you give them a try.
