We enjoyed Valentine’s Day dinner at the Grey Gables. Upon arrival (early, 5:30) we were greeted and promptly seated. Our seats were in the middle of the “less quaint” dining room. If I could recommend any change in ambience, it would be in this dining room. I think it is normally used as banquet room? But, the room feels hollow and lacks the gracious feeling that the bar and the main dining room possess. Our server (very nice young woman – sorry, didn’t catch her name) was quick to ask about drinks and tell us about the various menu options. We enjoyed the fried, spicy calamari with our wine. The bread service was great – warm! We ended up choosing salmon over couscous and pasta bolanese. Both choices were very good. For dessert, we shared a hot fudge cream puff. My wife received a long stem mum from the host, as we departed. We’ll be back in the Spring-

Grey Gables catered our wedding at Castle farms a few days ago and everything was AMAZING! Katie and her team knocked it out of the park and made our big day feel so special. Katie was always there when we needed her through the whole process and very easy to get in touch with. Our food at the wedding was the same when we did our tasting. Our guests were blown away by the food and the service. Her team at the bar were FANTASTIC and so professional with our guests! There was always a line at the bar and they worked so hard to keep our guests happy! We are forever grateful for Grey Gables & they will always be our go to spot when we are home visiting Charlevoix in the winter & summer times! THANK YOU!!

We came here for our 20th anniversary. What a beautiful place! Staff was absolutely amazing. We told our server that we wanted privacy and she gave us just that but still actually checked back periodically to make sure we did not need anything. The food was fabulous! It was plated beautifully! I just wish I could try everything on menu!

Grey Gables catered our wedding last weekend and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Katie was fantastic and communicated with me about everything and answered all of my silly questions that popped up. Our meal was phenomenal and tasted exactly like our tasting months prior. All of our guests were satisfied and won’t stop talking about how great it was. They also saved us some of our passed appetizers and set them at our sweetheart table so we could enjoy them too. Grey Gables also bartended our wedding and they were fantastic and made sure everyone got the perfect drink. We truly appreciate everything they did for us!

We used Grey Gables to cater our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about their service, staff and food. Katie was incredible to work with and responded promptly to all questions we had. She was wonderful the day of our event and even offered to get us new plates of hot food when we got distracted talking to guests at dinnertime. We also heard from our guests how delicious their meal was and we almost never had a line at the bar (which is pretty incredible for a 200 person event). So glad we worked with them!

Clean and inviting space, server was ok and food was good (Mushroom Biques was a little too salty but good). Bathrooms were very tiny – they did not have handicap accessible bathroom…is that within code? 3.5 Stars

Chose Grey Gables for our family to celebrate a milestone birthday. With a party of 16 adults and kids, they were the only location out of several contacted in the area to accept a reservation for a party that size.
