I never heard of this place before, it has to be one of those best kept secrets. A friend invited me there. So glad he did. You could put this place anywhere and it would be the best burger place. Seriously I was planning on eating healthy, but just the smell from parking walking to the building was like ok I am going to have to try the burger. Literally the best burger. The fries are not special, if they did fresh cut fries or even skin on frozen would be better. Nonetheless regardless of fries, the burger will be one of the best if not the best you’ll ever have. I would not even try anything else on the menu, if you get the chance to go there, you will not be disappointed in their burgers.

I really loved this place. It’s right across from the train station. I was on the river all day and this was very close to the livery. We only chose this spot for location. We had deep fried artichoke hearts to start. They were amazing! Something I never thought to deep fry. For that matter I don’t even like fried foods but they were the exception. We both had burgers. They were cooked perfect, and so good. I will definitely be back.

In town for a medical appointment with my daughter. My old stomping grounds 40 years ago. We had hamburgers, very good quality, great fries. Iced tea was very good. Friendly service by a funny server.

The food and service have remained very good, especially the Asian chicken salad which has been on the menu for decades. We had a very good server as well. I have given a rating of three rather than five stars for two reasons. First, a part of a paper label was on one of the bell pepper slices in my salad (the prep person failed to remove it). I was fortunate not to swallow it. As a former restaurant and nightclub manager, it is basic courtesy when something like that happens for the manager table to apologize and to offer some type of courtesy response, such as a free dessert (the “A” response); or for manager to have the server do that on his/her own (the “B” response as a manager ideally should come to the table). What we got instead was the “C” response. The server told the manager; and the manager neither came to the table nor offered any kind of courtesy response to having something inedible in the food. Given this restaurants reputation for excellent management, the non-response was surprising. The second reason for the deduction is that the music is too loud, even for a bar setting. Bars should have music, but not so loud as to make conversations difficult. The music was turned down upon request, however, which was appreciated. Had the music been the only issue the rating would have remained at four or five stars given that it is a bar setting; however a management non-response–especially when the restaurant isn’t very busy–can’t be overlooked.

I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews. The atmosphere was fun and the the onion rings were very good. I had to send my burger back because it wasn’t cooked properly and when it was brought back, it still was undercooked. I thought it was kind of bland and under seasoned. My husband’s fish and chips were better. Fun to try but probably won’t be back.

Onion rings awesome. Fish and chips awful. If they can fry an onion to perfection why not fish. Batter on fish was mushy. Really awful. Service was great.
