Good home cooked meals and good service. Not the fanciest decor but clean and well maintained building with a lot more seating than one might suspect looking at the size of the building. Menus do vary some through time but I’ve never left disappointed with the food or the service I received.

Locals recommended the fried chicken since it’s Tuesday and that’s fried chicken day. So I went with that and was not disappointed! Excellent fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Kid got a waffle and said it was the best waffle of her life.

50 minutes to get our food, a bigger table that arrived 40 after we did got their food way before we did. Our waitress was laying her head on her arm in the window where the food comes out. I asked for sausage links on two of our orders and received patty’s. Food was gross once it came out, never again.

A cute little cafe with great food and even better service! Our waitress was very friendly and kept our coffee full, which is not an easy task with how fast we drink it.

Love it. Great for breakfast. Dollar coffee with purchase. It’s a lovely, bright, family friendly diner. Simpler menu makes most things fantastic. Lunch specials are really solid too.

This is my go-to restaurant in Kirksville. The food is great and the price is perfect for a broke college student. A big breakfast meal (two sunny side up eggs, half biscuits n gravy, hash browns & sausage) ends up being around $6. Plus they have 75 cent coffee!!
