I recently found out about shishkabob Express. I have to say this place has surpassed my expectations. They offer a buffet, one of the best I’ve had yet to try. I live in the Alexandria/Springfield area, and I’ve been to several places that are similar, but nothing can compare to shishkabob express, most other places only offer a stew like chicken. Shishkabob Express actually has chicken kabobs, and my most favorite, BEEF kabobs, along with other great dishes. The restaurant is very well kept and clean. The price and quality of the food make this an even better deal!!

Came for lunch buffet with a friend. It was a little bit after lunch hours at 1:30, but the food was still hot and ready to go. Very good selection of kababs, curries, side dishes. Everything tasted amazing. Seriously. There wasn’t a single dish that I had that I thought had been sitting for awhile or wasn’t seasoned well. An incredible deal at $15, and I hope to come here for lunch again. Interior was clean but nothing to write home about. But the food… oh my was it good!

Amazing quality food at a good price. All tasty dishes and amazing Kabob. You most definitely get your money’s worth. Remember this is not fast food or junk food. These are dishes that take work and effort to prepare and some are costly to prepare. With just one plate you get your money’s worth.

A friend took me to the restaurant this weekend. He did not tell me where are we going. Knowing that I’m very picky, I was hoping the place must b good. It was amazing. For $11.50, you have all kinds of salad, several kind of rice ( try Iranian rice, kind of green color), lamb shanks, kabobs, soups, chicken curry and kabons. Must try the rice dessert. The buffet menue was big enough that everyone will be able to find their favorite. I was on content with Salad which had home.made style cottage cheeses. I’m definitely going back.for the weekend buffet which is social. The place is HALAL. The ambience was good.

I was searching for Chantilly lunch buffet, and this came up even though it’s 15 minutes away. The people were all nice there. The food was good, but I wouldn’t say it’s extraordinary. I liked the normal chicken kabob the best. I also liked the variety of rice. The green rice was new to me and kinda refreshing, with a hint of sweet. The flan was nice. One thing of note is the kabobs are all freshly made, which added to the enjoyment/texture of it. However, the reason I take a star off is there was a period of 5-10 minutes where there was no meat available (since they were still preparing fresh kabobs). I like fresh, but I also like timely food.

Went there to have lunch. Buffet has a lot of items, currys, kabobs, salads and dessert. The price for lunch is a little high. The food was warm, but while I was there beef kubideh was finished and they did not add any more. At least during the time I was there. There bread is not freshly made naan that is usually available in kabob restaurants, it was in fact pita bread. The place was clean, staff was good, food was ok, I only tried kabobs and a dessert, not sure about the currys. But I think overall it is ok place. For Lunch time, their price is on the high side. Not sure if I would recommend or not.

We have not tried their regular menu items but took out the family platters for catering needs. Best portions for serving to guests and kabab tastes great too!
