First sushi in a long time. Being so far from a coast i was less than excited. This place totally caught me off. Great food prepared well & served fresh. Sauces were excellent, ginger palette cleanse was very nice. Definitely a must attend if you want good fresh food.

Awful. was good at some point years ago. Hamachi roll fishy, old veggie tempura double fried, eel nigiri decent yet of questionable age. Overworked soulless waitstaff. Eat tacos elsewhere instead.

Even though the restaurant was empty when I arrived, guests sooned followed me. The food was better than I could have expected in a land locked state. I had albacore, yellow tail, tuna, and miso soup. Everything was wonderful and on time. The staff was gracious and the owner seems honest and caring.

Came to this place with my bosses and friends, the owners of Sherpa Cafe in Crested Butte and Gunnison…Great food and service, Felt welcoming as if it was someone’s home, wasn’t too busy and didn’t have to wait on seating. Not as great as we were expecting. We got some sushi rolls and their chicken ramen. They were ok. Presentation of the rolls was mediocre and the quantity per order was inconsistent. Ambience was dull, and had an unpleasant smell similar to wet dirty rags. Came out dissapointed.

The food was some of the most authentic Japanese food I’ve ever had. The steak hibachi was phenomenal and the sushi was delicious. The owner was kind and engaged in friendly conversation. He gave us a hand written playlist after the meal. The service was also very quick. Best Japanese food I’ve had.

The spicy edamame is really good. Everything else is very meh. . Lunch special is cheap for a reason with low quality salmon and tiny portion sizes. Takeout consistently takes about an hour more than the estimate you receive online. While more expensive and with more limited hours, the sushi truck at the distillery is way better
