Really excellent. Humble place with excellent food. Of course the rotisserie chicken is what they’re justifiably famous for, but other Peruvian dishes are terrific too. Beef heart anticuchos are delicious and moist, served with excellent potatoes and corn. Ceviche pescado could not have been fresher. Ají de gallina, my favorite Peruvian dish, is done so beautifully here, with shredded rotisserie chicken in a luscious mild ají amarillo sauce. I like to go here right before the airport, but do leave extra time as they are not fast.

The food here is spectacular! Love coming here but sometimes it can be a little difficult to get a table because the dinning area is small. I highly recommend trying it out if you want to broaden your horizon and palette.

I had high expectations about the pollo a la brasa chicken… I didn’t like it as much as I would have liked… The chicken tastes average… side is very small and they take so long time to serve you and they do it with attitude…

This place is a staple for roasted chicken. Their aji sauce compliments it really nice… I haven’t had the chance to sit at their tables, space is limited and the atmosphere is cozy and familiar. Try the family combos for take out if you have a party and your guests will not be disappointed.

We had the Chafua Mixto with shrimp because it looked great from the photos. My wife had the 1/2 chicken with yucca and salad. Both dishes were extremely flavorful. I thought it might have been a little expensive but in reality it’s not. You get good portions AND this is top quality, fresh huge shrimp, rice delicious, the chicken so well cooked to perfection. I had my leftover the next day and enjoyed it just as much. You’re paying for good quality and I hope the owners keep this quality. I will try to come again before I leave for a second treat. Great service too.
