Its nice to be back this place. Last time we went our reservation was 6PM and was crowded plus it was Saturday. This time it is little early 5:30 and Sunday, right on time there were long table with 85th birthday and they were done before 6. After 6 o’clock he people started to come in and finally packed and some waiting outside.

This is a best kept neighborhood secret with the price fixed weekday lunch and early bird dinner specials. Comes w choice of soup or salad, entrees & dessert, etc. Great service but can be noisy when full & everyone chatting away. Easy meter parking in front & free on-street parking just a short distance away.

We’ve been several times to Riviera and love it there. Two small things we noticed…. First is that it is getting really noisy in the dining area. It’s almost like going to a Chinese restaurant now. Second is that the veal portions seem to be getting smaller. Still absolutely delicious but definitely shrinking. Of course we will keep going bec the food is great and the service attentive. Just wanted to share what we’ve noticed.

Had a large family event. Chose the highest fixed price per person option. Food was great and plentiful. I am I am definitely considering coming back for dinner alone with my wife.

My girlfriend and I went last night to this restaurant and i was in the mood for a chicken dish. So I ordered chicken with broccoli and my girlfriend ordered the special striped bass fillet. My chicken was so dry it was disgusting. It was super thin and looked like it was pounded thin but way to dry to eat. I should have complained but I didn’t.

Been living in the neighborhood for almost 20 years and only discovered this place a year ago. Food is unbelievable, haven’t had a bad or even mediocre dish yet. The service is amazing, very attentive but not overly much and the pricing is great. This is a new favorite of myself and family.

I have driven by this restaurant for years and I don’t know why we waited so long to try it! We loved the atmosphere, it felt like an old school, authentic Italian restaurant. We had an early dinner and there were only a few tables occupied so we were seated right away. I noticed there were a lot of waiters though, and I realized this place gets very busy, because by the time we left, it was packed. Service was stellar, the food was delicious and even the wine was fantastic. I spilled my wine all over our table and appetizers and the staff quickly cleaned up and even brought us more apps and another glass of wine. That wasn’t at all necessary but so appreciated! We had the fried calamari, baked clams, the gnocchi and the branzino and it was all so good. We’ll definitely be back!

This restaurant is the jewel of Whitestone. The owner and the staff are very friendly and professional. The food has an authentic and homemade taste. The portions are generous and the desserts are wonderful. Highly recommended!

Probably the best Italian I’ve had in a long time. The veal marsala was sooooolid. The special was lobster ravioli and it was sooo creamy and delicious. Danny the owner is always there and always friendly. If you get dessert the orange granita is a good choice. They have the lemon version as well so we’ll have to get that next time we go!
