Staffs are respectful but the wanton and lauriat needs improvement . Lauriat taste old and the noodles was hard , portion was pretty small too.

This is my first time tried Chowking, I didn’t know they have a location in Mira Mesa too. I was attracted by their Bao buns in the steamer, it looks so yummy. And yes, it was yummy, I kinda love it but their dough was a little too thick and the meatball is small comparing to the dough. Otherwise it is a yummy Bao bun.

I don’t know why so many people are giving this place a bad review, its not bad at all. I had both the food and the halo halo. Not 5 star but definitely better than most fast food. Also pretty cheap and the workers are nice! Not my regular place but ill go back!

Food is tasty. Thats where the one star came from. Don’t go here if you don’t have a patience in waiting, we waited 30 mins my order was sitting there getting cold, while the couple of people ahead of us get theirs first. Including two people ordering to go. I have tot talk to Aliyah that maybe i should get my soup before it gets cold! The second order came exactly thirty minutes we end up taking our food to go, small portions for the price! Service is terrible! We went there and its not busy, so i don’t know how is it when it’s busy. I will never come back. This will be the first and last.

Was hesitant to go here given the reviews but my wife wanted to try it. Must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were polite and service was fairly quick despite how busy they were. Got the fried chicken and pancit so I can’t vouch for their other items but these were great. Pancit was better than expected and fried chicken was crunchy and juicy. Would I visit all the time? Probably not, I can get an 8 piece of chicken at Von’s when it’s on sale for way cheaper. However, I can see myself making the effort to return to try some of the other items out of curiosity. Overall, glad I tried it and it was much better than I anticipated.

Disappointing. Small portions and they don’t even have my chow fan! They have taho and black jelly though. The one in Mira Mesa is better since they have more options.

I’m so disappointed we spend almost $60 for our food, the lauriat so different from the picture, beef wonton 3 small pcs. of meat salty soup, halohalo small cup for $8 the ingredients are so hard. The siomai is salty. Its not the way its used to be.

I was satisfied with what I ordered. I usually go to Chowking for their siopao and siomai and I’m glad that I don’t have to drive 30 minutes just to go to the nearest Chowking. I’ll definitely go back.

They always miss to give an item if you have a big order. Last time they messed up on my sister’s order. Then, recently with my order they forgot to give me my chicken.

Idk, maybe because I haven’t had lauriat for atleast 8 yrs but it tasted like panda express, atleast for the pancit and fried rice.
