Pretty expensive for hot dogs at a restaurant where you bus your own table. Two (2) combos – footlong and gyro – totalled $27 before hitting the tip jar by the register. The prices might’ve been listed on the wall nearby but I didn’t see them. It’s probably worth asking before you order. Don’t assume they’re cheap just because hot dogs are.

A warm southern welcome was no where to be found this Friday when I went to the hot dog King for lunch. The three surly women behind the counter did all they could to ruin some really good hot dogs. Next time I feel like eating at the hot dog king I will kick the cat instead.

Fast Friendly service. Ordered and before I could fill my cup with Coke the tasty hot dogs were waiting just like I ordered them. MMMmmm good! Great prices, great atmosphere. I highly recommend this poif you like eating great hotdogs or several other things on the menu.

My review is based on just one visit. At a place advertising itself as the King of Hotdogs, I expected something special. Instead, the dogs I received struck me as just your ordinary supermarket hot dogs in an enriched flour bun. Nothing special, I’m afraid. Service was brusque but friendly during a busy lunch time. I plan to pay a second visit and try a gyro.
