I stopped at the new store at south 5th but was disappointed. Very nice baked goods but very poor customer service. The counter ladies made me feel I was interrupting their afternoon by asking for a sandwich.

The best local sandwich shop and bakery. Rolls, soups, sandwiches, and a lot of baked goods, everything is wonderful. The owner Danielle is amazing too also love supporting local businesses

Chicken noodle soup is horrible. There’s about three noodles, couple of carrots, few slivers of chicken in this bland soup. Every time we come here the order is messed up. The soup temperature needs to come down. Service of food needs to completely be changed.

Visited yesterday after hearing all the hype about their cinnamon rolls. They were anything but! For over $10 I received a plastic container with 6 rolls in it that said Old Fashioned Raspberry Rolls with 1/4 inch thick frosting, see photos. I put one on a plate and began to try it. There was not a trace of cinnamon nor raspberry. It tasted like yeast bread with a bunch of icing! Where’s the cinnamon and raspberries? Deceiving for sure. This was very disappointing and highly overpriced. The 4 pack of cinnamon rolls at Ridleys is $3.99 and has more flavor. So sad. This place was recommended and I had to tell my friends it was a total miss. These items should have cinnamon and raspberries. Not a streak of a light pink transparent flavorless mess. I will not return and I would say ask a lot of questions if you go there. Ask for a sample before you buy and you to will taste nothing but bland bread…

This review is only in regards to the cream pies…I have visited Geraldine’s for a variety of items, from baked goodies, to breads, sandwiches, sweet rolls, cookies etc.- I’ve loved everything.

Geraldine’s is the best bakery in town! I also love their soups and sandwiches! Everything is very fresh and never disappoints!

Forgot half our order. Went back in immediately after checking in the car and got an eye roll from the guy that took our order and the long haired girl that “made” the order. We got home to realize all the sandwiches were wrong too. Thanks guys, I’ll just stick with the Idaho falls locations.

Products are delicious, service was terrible. As a multiple business owner myself, I really hesitate to write a less-than-5-star review unless it really calls for it. I came in at around 5:30 on 5/2/22. It looked to be staffed by two people, but only one was helpful. The lady making food was busy of course, no problem there, but the lady working the register was just standing there staring off into the lobby. There was one customer in there besides myself that had apparently ordered previously and was waiting on the other employee to finish making her food..no problem..that’s normal. But it was so silent in there it was awkward, so I greeted the cashier by saying hello, hoping to start a dialogue so I could be helped. I got nothing..just a vague general “hello”. I looked around a bit more and finally asked the cashier about the gift baskets (I wanted to purchase multiple things and place inside the basket). To make a long story short she had to go ask the other employee for help every at every single step (not a huge issue if you’re learning…but it was to the point where she massively under-charged me) ..whatever..so I politely let her know my bill should be like triple what she charged. Not to be too harsh..but common sense would tell anyone that for the amount of products I was purchasing, the total should have been WAY higher..and you would think maybe that would prompt the cashier to double check it? It was clear she either didn’t care or was so aloof that she couldn’t perform basic job tasks. She then “wrapped” the gift basket with almost zero effort or care and then literally slid it to me across the counter and walked off. From the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out it seemed like this lady had zero pulse. No smile, no greeting, no offer to assist or maybe up-sell me, terrible wrapping job, no “thank you” nothing… I would have thought she was among the dead if it wasn’t for her limbs moving. I understand certain tasks at jobs require training..but basic customer service is common sense. The other customer in there was observing this as well. I didn’t catch the employee’s name but it was the much younger looking one of the two. Probably a high school student…so not much is expected of employees at that level I guess..but wow..I would think at least some basic things would be a minimum standard.

Yummy tomato & basil soup with foot long sandwich (#2) for $8.99. It was enough food for two people. Fast and friendly service. Great selection of baked goods.
