My wife and I stopped by this morning to have breakfast. A young lady named Alexis was our waitress and she was great. Everything she done, and the staff was unbelievable. They definitely have their system in order. The food was great. The service was wonderful and the time that it took to get our order was unbelievable. If all waffle houses were like this, we would eat there more. Alexis needs a big raise for how well she did with our order.

I would love to eat here but the past three times I’ve come, all different times, they have offered take out only because they were “about to close”. This morning at 6am it happened again, an empty restaurant with three employees turning me away. Every other Waffle House in the area is open 24 hours, thank goodness!

We went to this location recently. Yesterday to be exact. And the waitress Ms Ruby was so nice! Waffle House is a big nostalgia factor for my fiancé and I both. And we hadn’t been to a Waffle House in a long time and decided we wanted to go. Will be returning to this location especially if Ms Ruby is going to be our waitress again! She was genuine, made sure everything was fine and it was delicious!! The first Waffle House I can say I’ve been to that actually tasted great! My waffle was delicious and my ham and was very good! Definitely better than Cracker Barrel for sure. Thank you for serving us Ms Ruby!! As for everyone else here they kinda gave us the cold shoulder and didn’t seem to speak to anyone other than each other about coworkers leaving and other work related stuff. Which is good that you communicate with each other in a work sense but not good when you don’t speak to customers or just act like you’re not interested in serving them. Ms Ruby was amazing as for the rest of the staff needs to do better about customer service.

Come to this location if you want to wait 30 minutes while watching the staff stare at you and talk behind the counter and not clear any tables off, seat any customers, or serve any of the tables that are seated. This location went down the tube from covid onward and has never recovered. Gave it one last chance w the fam tonight and it was frustrating as usual, we left for another place.

First of all we weren’t greeted as we entered the business. Off Hwy 316 in Athens Georgia. The waitress name Momma Jane . Order bacon with meal didn’t get until it was cold and burned. Ordered raisin toast got regular… The hashbrowns were hard as a rock.

This is Waffle House #1189, and it has a mural of Uga the Bull Dog on the side. Whatever you think of college football and UGA sports, the waffles here are delicious. Wow! You can get real good waffles at Waffle House #1189 with or without chocolate chips, blueberries etc. Lots of butter and syrup to top them with too. Also they have delicious hashbrowns, eggs, ham, bacon and other food. Enjoy the delicious waffles!

Zak was our waiter and was super friendly and helpful. The”manager” or whoever she is, is very rude to customers and staff. She has made comments to myself and other customers that were very rude and unprofessional. Zak was doing a wonderful job and she was talking to him like he was her dog. I tried to read her shiny name tag but it blurred out her name. Surely an accident. The food is wonderful! Thank you again Zak.

The staff is nice and welcoming, it was a bit busy but the waitress was attentive and polite. The food was good, and delivered warm. Good service, cheap price, i recommend the blueberry waffle. It wasn’t fresh blueberries but it still tastes good and satisfied my sweet tooth.
