The meat was horrible. What happened to this place they used to have quality meat now it’s all dried and tastes old. If the owners are listening I hope they realize whatever short cuts they’re taking they need to stop because they are loosing loyal customers. Oh yeah by the way 7.50 for an horchata. Come on!

I think this spot may be for one for the locals. We always have to stop for tacos on our way through Gilroy, and El Grullense doesn’t disappoint. I’m uncertain if it’s my pasty skin, but they never serve me salsa that’s spicy enough for my palette.

This place use to be the best. I went yesterday with my husband and we got some tacos a burrito and their nachos. Their nachos had thin chips, the cheese was the can one not the shredded, no beans and skimp on the meat tons of tomatoesand sour cream. It looked like taco bell nachos. The meat tasted very weird. The tacos were gross, meat you can tell was bad as were the carrots that I had to practically argue for. The tacos had everything I asked them not to put. The burrito was put together well but the meat, you know the meat its bad just by the smell. Let just say our guts hate us rn. This review is for the one on first st and church st.

Placed order for 2 sopes and 4 tacos, cashier told me the total & seemed low. I said to him that the price seemed low and re read my order to him. He proceeded to tell me multiple times that I told only ordered tacos. I asked if he could re ring me up with what I’d asked for. Super rude about it, insisting I ordered wrong. Customer service needs improvement! They never made anything so it was no harm no foul so why argue and have attitude?

Bad service. The cashier a young girl with glasses nd a brownish coat that was their was rude nd didnt give me my reciept. She looked at me nd walked away. Like they have bad service. Dont think im going in there again nd telling everyone how it is. The avocado i got on my food was looking even brown nd didnt taste fresh at all. Need better cooks nd better customer service. The tacos are hella expensive. I got one chicken taco with sour cream nd cheese nd they charged me $4.39. Thats tooooo much for a taco that wasnt even that great
