KIMBOP, fast casual Korean in the pompano city center shopping mall, it’s conveniently accessible close to the parking lot, next to Lowe’s, and the brewery. I like the concept, but the style or execution of the food is not to my taste.

What a pleasant surprise to find Korean food in this part of town. Not a full Korean menu (with things like mackerel and dumpling soup) but more if a fast food place. But they have a wide variety of bibimbop versions beyond what I’ve seen before and the meat in it was a generous amount. Beware that their only hot tea is sweetened ginger. If you sit inside you are served by a robot. Should I have tipped the robot directly? I really don’t think the staff are going to share the tip, lol.

This place is brand new. Tood was really good and the prices were reasonable. The menu was varied and interesting. Glad to have a Korean BBQ in the area and glad to see this mall/plaza getting more tenents!

This place is the way to go, it’s a hidden gem inside of the pompano plaza. As someone who eats a lot of Asian food I can honestly say, this is my new spot. The dumplings are fantastic, and what I had was the ra-bokki and I was floored as to the perfect blend of heat and flavor! You cannot go wrong with this place. The management and staff are absolutely delightful! I cannot say enough good things about this place and you cannot go wrong coming here!

We tried out Kimbop for dinner last night and it was impressively good! You order at the counter and a robot brings over your food (which the kids really liked!) The rolls were flavorful and had nice dipping sauces. The Rumyan was spicy, but not overwhelming with all dente ramen style noodles. Finally, the Bulgogi platter came with tasty side dishes that made a nice accompaniment to the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend Kimbop for a fast casual Korean food experience.
