It was my wife and mine first time eating at this location. Our server was amazing and had us laughing and feeling like we were long-time customers. The food was perfect, and Sanya (the other waitress) was just as good. Both waitresses weaved in between one another to take care of every customer as if they were the only one they had. And their sweet tea was perfect, we will be back.

We went for Valentines Day our first time there. The steak and the pork chop were amazing. His steak was cooked perfectly and the pork chop was so tender but the flavor was unbelievable. We will definitely be back. Great experience loved the little cabin.

What a great place. I was not anticipating liking it because I don’t like the one in Hannibal. This place was great. Our waitress Sonia was very friendly and helpful. We had the fried chicken special and the smothered tenderloin. Just about the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. Cute place. Fast service. Great food. They had a big selection of desserts but I was just too full. lol. I will most certainly be back.

I will preface this review with that I’ve been to the Rustic Oak in Hannibal as well a couple years ago. I wasn’t overly impressed but the service in Hannibal was a lot better than what I experienced at the Perry location today. Another group and I both walked in at the same time. That group went before me but no one even acknowledged their existence for good 10 minutes. We decide to leave because after seeing other bad reviews, and already seeing patrons getting treated poorly, we weren’t even going to amuse this place. You are better off trying the Junction or the Hitching Post down the road. It seems to me to retain a decent reputation in Hannibal, they ought to close up the Perry location.

Great place to eat!! Food was delicious!! Decor was cool. I had the chicken fried chicken. Had apple cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. By far the best I’ve ever had. They were out of chocolate fudge and blackberry cobbler unfortunately. I really wanted that. It’s hard to find blackberry pie or cobbler where I live. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again.

I’m originally from Perry and we were down visiting family and staying in a cabin nearby. We’d already been there for a week and had yet to find a restaurant that was willing or able to accommodate my wife’s dairy & egg allergies, so we’d pretty much been subsisting on what we could fix with our limited kitchen or rolls with lunchmeat! I finally convinced my wife to try one more restaurant so we stopped in…my only regret was that we didn’t try Rustic Oak earlier!
