We had just come from a wake and needed food. The place was recommended, and I am so glad it was open. We got there with less than an hour before closing. I can say it was amazing! The shrimp perfectly cooked. The waitress was awesome.

I am completely revising my review of this restaurant after going back a second time with my family. The quality and variety of food have increased dramatically. the wait staff was very attentive and cordial. The veal parmesan and veal piccatta was a large serving perfectly cooked and presented. The only comment for change would be to please add more sauce on the pasta. All of us had pasta dishes, and everyone asked for additional sauce after they came out.

The Gluten Free Parmigiano was amazing! The chicken was grilled to perfection, the sauce was exquisite. We did have a wait a bit to order after we were seated and it took a while to get our check but the atmosphere wasn’t bad. That was really the only con we found and they assured us it was due to shift change (I also think they were busy for Father’s Day). The staff was very nice though.

So delicious! Very customer service focused, atmosphere was so inviting and encouraged great conversation at the table! Raphael was attentive and very familiar with the menu so he was able to make recommendations when asked. Nicole checked on our party to make sure that everything was perfect! To finish off our experience we enjoyed dessert!! Can I just say, even more delicious than we anticipated and after such a fantastic meal we were so blown away. This experience was a great finale to our trip, we will return to FL tomorrow and home A Tavola will be expanding our way soon.

Waitress was so nice and great service for only being there a month! The Caymas wine was a perfect with the food. The lasagna and white & margarita pizzas were delicious and were devoured in a flash leaving no room for desert lol. Would highly recommend! Great experience

For Metairie, it’s a solid 3. The food was OK. The service was very uninspired. The staff seemed down trodden. They forgot one meal at a table of 8. It took us 5 minutes just to flag someone over. It then took us another 2 minutes to convince the person (the manager, not our waiter) that a mean had been forgotten. The 5 minutes later, they found the meal and delivered it. We only saw our waiter 1 more time, to deliver the bill. The place is pretty. The drinks were good. Nothing was fantastic. They did have our table ready on time for our reservation. The meat balls were tasty, but not soft. The pizza crust was nice and cooked nicely.

Great experience! The server was very attentive. The porkchop was so tender. It felt like I was cutting butter. So good.

I went with friends to try out this Italian restaurant after work. We made reservations online; so when I arrived ahead of my party I was seated right away. The restuarant has a happy hour featuring $3 beer, and $6 cocktails. I really enjoyed the Italian Margarita. There was no specials just what is offered on the menu. We had spaghetti and meatballs, paneed chicken fettucine Alfredo, parmigiano with linguine, and roasted Brussels sprouts with pancetta, hazelnuts, Romano cheese and aged balsamic glaze. They served bread while we waited for the meal. The service was just okay. It wasn’t overly busy, but our server was not very attentive. We had to ask for tea refills, more bread, and request the dessert menu when it was not offered to us. The food was good. It came out hot and steaming. The Sunday sauce was flavorful and not very acidic for a red sauce. The Alfredo was thick and creamy. We ate only half the entre as the portion of pasta was large. The lemon mascarpone cheesecake with fresh berries and whipped cream was big enough to split. It was very good, light and fluffy, and not super sweet like a New York cheesecake. The fresh berries description was a stretch. The cheesecake has 1 blackberry, and 1 strawberry. My other 2 girlfriends split a chocolate tart with an espresso gelato. They had mixed reviews on the taste. Overall it was a good experience. Service has room to improve. I spent $50 on a happy hour cocktail, Brussels sprouts appetizer, panned chicken and Alfredo pasta, and split the cost of dessert plus tip.
