No, the place is not open anymore. They have not been open since COVID. I even talked to some of the employees here today and that’s what they told me, and they said when the COVID started to end, they had not chosen to open their doors again.

Rarely do I hand out a less than satisfactory review, and perhaps today is just one of those days when they put an uncaring cook with a waitress who’s only working because she can’t afford to die. 1. I like a full glass of water when it’s delivered. Otherwise one might think, “did someone taste it first to make certain there was enough bleach mixed in?” 2. Charbroiled, is basically the same as burned, and neither of the two words pair well with chicken fried steak. 3. Hashbrowns. Is that what those were? I thought it was a mess of shoestring potatoes all crunchy and brown to the point that a good amount of ketchup wouldn’t even help. 4. Garlic bread was supposed to come with the meal, but maybe it’s a good thing she forgot to bring it out, or quite possibly she gave it to the table who didn’t want my plate when she tried to give it to them… 5. No olives on the salad bar. – Next time I plan on being stuck in Michigan for two days, I believe I’ll stock up on leftovers before I leave OhiO. Try out the restaurant, maybe it’ll be your lucky day!

They are not even open. Drove all that way to find boxes filling the place. Don’t waste your time or gas.

Super slow service, waited 40 minutes for our food for the bacon to taste like charcoal and cold shriveled up fries. Just go to Burger King it will be faster and taste better.

With how little this store is open, they might as well close it permanently. Half of it is being used as a store room anyway.

Ordered hot dog special no onions. I watched my order sit in the window for 15 minutes. A server finally brought it over, not my server who was nowhere to be found. I ordered no onions and of course it was loaded with onion. I waited a half hour to get my corrected order. Then was charged 20 for said meal. Two hot dogs and a very small amount of fries and a coke?? Not worth it. Put me behind on my work day and charged me extra for it. The server had zero explanation when I asked about my order, other than some mumbled crud that the cook wasn’t feeling well. The other customers got their orders no problem, stir fry and a breakfast dish. Super lame. Next time I would just rather not eat. Will not be back and will be actively steering folks away.

Country Pride is a restaurant located in a truck stop. They have a good menu, with a very nice selection to choose from, although I admit we almost always get the same items because we enjoy it so much and have never been disappointed. Plus there is the option of a pretty good soup and salad bar. The salad plates are kept chilled in a cooler on the bar and they refresh and clean up the salad bar often. The restaurant is decorated nicely, seating is comfortable, and service is good. The servers are friendly and they do the best they can to take care of their customers even when they are busy. We’ve found that no matter how tasty the food is, good service can make or break your dining experience.

Our server was great! And the 4.99 kids burger was a deal. However, the soup and salad bar isn’t worth 8.79 a person. Food was decent, but not enough selection for the price IMO.
