Pretty good but pricey. Bowl of pho is $13+. Broth is decently clear for the pho but not the clearest I’ve seen. This pho is on the sweeter side for the broth so be careful if you like adding hoisin sauce. They do have better pepper to add, you just have to ask for it instead of using the sweet siracha . Fried rice did not seemed to have been seasoned. Tasted like only the ingredients if that’s what you like.

Got the R5 Rice Plate and it was amazing! The meat was seasoned perfectly and the other sides complemented perfectly! Definitely a must try!

First time here and very happy with the results. On our way home from a great vacation. Very hungry for homeland food and was not disappointed. If anything at all the fish sauce can be a tad more salty…but I tend to eat too much sodium! All and all the family love the experience and definitely will be back!

Ten out of ten would not recommend. I got a noodle dish that had no seafood in it at all and it tasted like they used the water they boiled their seafood in to make our dish. The prices for what you’re getting are also not worth it. Typically I wouldn’t leave a review or go off of a first try of a place, but I couldn’t stomach my soup without dumping almost a whole bottle of siracha in it and still couldn’t stomach it enough to eat it.

As a frequent traveler to this particular Rockford area I am disappointed that this was my first visit to Pho 815. Some of the reviews were not flattering but I have nothing but high praise.

We went to this place with a local friend. She said this place is the best pho restaurant in town. We tried the specialty pho, fried rice noodles, spring rolls, and fried chicken wings. Highly recommend the specialty pho, huge portion. The foods were great, though it is a bit pricey. We will probably go to this place again when we are in Rockford next time.

It’s pretty decent, the pho was a bit sweet but it was okay for me though. Didn’t really have any those pepper shaker things, I don’t remember those are called lol. Other than that, springs rolls were 10/10. In general, the service well good.

Yesterday I got Pho 815 Specialty. It was fantastic. The quantity and quality were spot on. Definitely enough for 2 meals if you can control yourself not to eat it all. This was my first time trying thus restaurant and I will be back as it is my favorite Pho restaurant in Rockford now!!

My family and I stopped in on our way home for lunch, and honestly was surprised to find a decent Vietnamese place in Rockford open on a Monday, which is a rare find. My husband had pho, and my daughter was able to get a kids size pho, which was a pleasant surprise since normally you don’t find kids sizes on Vietnamese menu’s that often. I had a banh mi, and it was so delicious. My daughter also had a Taro smoothie, which was perfect. We also shared shrimp rolls, which were really delicious. My husband and daughter were raving on how good the pho was that they mentioned it to the host, and he was very excited to tell us that they prepare the pho broth from scratch the night before. My husband being Vietnamese himself could tell right away that the pho broth was authentic, and not made from canned broth. Price wise, this location was very reasonable compared to family owned Vietnamese locations that are in Chicago. I recommend not believing those reviews saying this location is expensive, cause it was not at all. The host provided really excellent service and exactly what I excepted from a family owned Vietnamese restaurant, which is come in and take a seat wherever you like. My whole family made sure to mention to the host that we consider the location our top 5, and most definitely will keep it as our go-to place to stop to eat whenever we head to Wisconsin.
