First time at Jimmy’s BBQ. Stopped in for lunch at noon. Entire restaurant was smokey and burned the eyes for a while. Once I got used to it, it wasn’t as noticeable or it had thinned out/vented. When I left I smelled like smoke for hours after. I appreciate the real smoking of the meats. But very different to walk in and see a cloud across the dining area.

Delicious bbq!! Al of the meats we got were fork tender and had amazing sauces to accompany them. Staff were also super nice! Only complaint is that they do not have AC but sitting outside was nice 🙂

Have you ever sat down super excited to try a BBQ sampler only to be disappointed once again? The customer service was on par but the food was nothing spectacular and the seating was empty even with it’s huge dining space. I’m guessing the owner or chef over estimated their need for ample seating. Also, it was picnick table style with paper towels on a stick for every table. I’ll start with the mac n’ cheese, the portion was adequate and looked very promising but the flavorless mass of mush did not win any awards. Just one eyebrow raised and a confusion at to why BBQ places always overcook their noodles. The second side I received was the sweet potato mashed potatoes. A much more flavorful dish but really it just relied on it’s elements for flavor and not any new spin on the dish. The meats now were very unfortunate. 3 individually wrapped meats the chicken, pulled pork and brisket The dry, the weak and the costly. Not one good thing can be said about the meat choices and their cooking. For the $27 spent on this meal I had hoped to enjoy it a little but honestly couldn’t finish it and wish I’d asked for my money back.

The food was good. Counter service only. You order at the register and pick up when ready. The restaurant was smokey but smelled great. The ceiling tiles are stained with smoke and the floor was slick. My daughter and I ate at one of the two tables available outside. Will definitely return to try other items.

We were already fans of Jimmy’s BBQ, so we decided to have them cater our wedding. Best decision ever!! They were professional, communicative, and the food was to die for. Drove out of the way to eat here due to all the positive reviews, and the business was closed. Sign on door stated that due to a party the night prior, the business would be opening at a later time that Saturday. Well, several hours after the stated time they were supposed to open, they were still closed, leaving several others along with myself looking for another BBQ place nearby.
