My husband and I stopped here for lunch today. Since he travels for work we find ourselves eating at a lot of new places. I have to say this place was amazing! First of all don’t leave without trying the Korean style wings. They are they best wings I have had in a very long time. They also brought out several small dish appetizers for us to try and I also ordered a ginger salad. For our main course my husband had the pork Japchae and I had the beef. Both were great with good flavor and the meat was tender.

This was a nicel and unique restaurant. They have some good Korean EDM music playing in the background and the owner is nice and very passionate about the food they serve. At first we didn’t know what to order and he recommended we did dinner for 2, which came with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Those chicken wings… WOW!! Best chicken wings ever, may I say. Very gracious on the sauce and well seasoned. The kimchi bowl is Awesome.Pictures are below!

Love it! The food is good, though the chicken fried rice was a little boring (my fault for that). The atmosphere is very interesting, and I love it! Service was not the best I’ve ever had, but she was pretty busy, and they’re trying to get more server staff.

Great prices, atmosphere, and service. The sushi is competitively priced with other “sushi” restaurants in town, with traditional flavors. Very refreshing to dine at an authentic, non-americanized, restaurant. I definitely suggest the Ramyun soup, it is amazing.

The free appetizers were mediocre. I’m not a fan of seeing food being heated up in the microwave at a restaurant. They could have used another chef in the kitchen, as ours had to make the sushi and entree. Luckily there were only 3 other people eating there, otherwise I’m not sure how long it would have taken to get our food. The food was delicious though. The sushi was fresh, and the bulgogi was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly as well. No complaints about the cleanliness of the restaurant either. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

Talk about a turnaround. Last time I was here (I believe it was December 2016) the wait time was over 2 hours for food, the service was poor, and the food was cold (the wings were still delicious, however). Well, that was then… I gave them a second chance tonight and they delivered. The service was excellent, quick (on a Saturday night!) and the food was outstanding…and yes, warm (and generous portion wise for the price). The Texas Fireman sushi is the best roll I’ve had in my life, it was the star of the meal. I will definitely be back again for sure. Kudos to an establishment that never stopped working to get better, the effort shows.

The staff here are very friendly and VERY accommodating. I had some off the menu requests and they seemed more than happy to make them for me. I ordered김밥, 순두부찌개, and 떡볶이. It was all amazing. Warning: They didn’t make traditional 떡볶이. They made 짜장떡볶이. It was SIMPLY amazing! I WILL be going back when I visit Owensboro again!

My husband and I really enjoy this place! We were so excited to find a Korean place in Owensboro. Flavors are great and I feel that the portions are pretty big. Prices are comparable with other places based on the meat you order. Staff are super friendly, and always make us feel so welcome, even when we bring our 9 month old with us (which can turn into a circus). Family friendly but a nice little spot for date night too. I’d be okay if they turned down the music videos in the background though. Or during specific hours play more chill music without the videos on the screen.
