Service was friendly but they neglected proper food preparation and the coffee. We got a cup of the Europa coffee and it was cold. Our sandwiches came not toasted therefore didn’t tasted any good. We had to take it home to toast so we didn’t have to waste the food. My power greens salad was good but the greens were getting old as some were yellow. All other corner bakery locations I’ve been to were consistently good with the brand but this one didn’t seem to care at all about their quality. Quite disappointing as I went there today because I craved a corner bakery sandwich.

We had the most disappointing encounter at this location this evening. The staff was incredibly rude from the start. Half of the restaurant had the chairs up on the tables and other half was full of dirty tables with garbage still on them. When we asked if we could either take some chairs down or have a table cleaned, the staff acted as if this was a crazy request. There was just one other couple sitting down, but it took forever for our food to arrive and when it did, I was appalled. Below is a picture of the pasta that my daughter was served. This is not the usual portion size or presentation that we usually receive at a Corner Bakery. Additionally, the soup that they brought me was just slopped into a cup. They didn’t even take the time to wipe the cup off. The food was warm at best. My daughter, who was excited to have a Mom/Daughter dinner, was so disappointed, as was I. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Truly a disappointment.

Every one was nice and karen at the register was lovely she made me feel welcomed although I’m very disappointed as to why they dnt have a tip jar! It’s ok tho I’ll keep on tipping every time I come by thank you guys for wonderful service and food! And for other people who complain you dnt like it go to McDonald’s!

Just in tryna get a couple bagels. It took 20 minutes for the bagel and they toasted it when we said not to. This dude came in , got his food and left is shoes on the floor. They should close and when I see people going in I will tell them this story.

Very conveniently located downtown Hinsdale near the train station. I’ve been spending a fair amount of time at spot between visits of a loved one at Hinsdale Hospital. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The food, especially the soups, are more than acceptable.

Went for lunch again and was disappointed yet again. I waited until I ate here a few times before reviewing, as I believe no one should leave a negative mark based on a single experience. Chicken Pomodori sandwich came with chicken and basil only, kids meal came with sandwich only (no milk, carrots, and fruit as ordered), soup was cold (but tasty). Location is great, but will probably not return after three disappointing visits.
