My best friend and I stopped in today for lunch. The catfish was amazing . The pinto beans were delicious. They reminded me of my grandma’s wood stove beans. Hush Puppies were really good. The salad bar was not very stocked, & the fries weren’t hot, but overall, it was a delicious meal. & excellent service.

Had to stop and have lunch with the family. We don’t have anymore David Beards where we live anymore. The food was excellent and the staff was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by. Because I sure would make the 3hr drive to go again.

I ordered a sirloin, medium well. It came out medium rare and had to be sent back twice. The salad bar either needs more options or more than one trip. The beans were pretty good. Over all it could have been a better experience.

Amazing catfish even if you do have to take it to be microwaved. Dont stop here after 9pm or close to close. My family Ordered 5 kids meals & a family meal and a double order of apples sticks. $47.00 Normally the food is hot to order, but because we didn’t get our food until after 10pm we were told we couldn’t separate the food & had to leave because of previous managers, stores being robbed, shot & killed while trying to close. My family had been craving fish from this place & eat here multiple times when in idabel. We tossed the fries & hushpuppies just reheated the fish & fried apple sticks. The pinto beans spilled in the paperbag & we didn’t get utensils or ketchup. However even reheated the catfish was great. Note to self eat here in the day or early evening

We where traveling around the Christmas season of 2021. We stopped here thinking it looked like a decent meal. To our surprise the fries where served cold and hard. The hamburgers were build your own if you didn’t want it dry. The hamburger meat also seamed like it was over cooked as it was dry with no signs of being freshly made for me. Also got the fish and chicken. Which was the same theme. Cold, stale, dry. The salad came in to-go boxes even though we where dinning in. Which was the only thing that resembled any signs of freshness. Everything else seemed like it was pre-cooked and not kept warm. The only thing I can recommend is the salad until they decide to actually cook the food when ordered.

Food was delicious! I got the chicken & fish combo with a side of bite-sized shrimp! The shrimp hit the spot!! Pink lemonade is my drink of choice every time & it never disappoints! Waitress was very nice & checked on us often. It’s one of our go to spots & we have always had a good experience there. If you go try the shrimp platter! Cajun beans were pretty good as well!!
