The place is very clean and the food was fantastic. The day we were there there was a large party in the back. They carried out 3 or 4 large trays of plates filled with food. So the time it took to get our food that day was expectedly a little slow. We were seated on the diner side where I could see into the kitchen. The kitchen was clean as well as the food. When we got our food, it was absolutely fantastic! The food had a wonderful flavor that was not only unique, but delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and excellent. From the exterior you wouldn’t expect much, but from the time you enter you are treated like family and the food tastes like a very experienced grandma cooked it.

Stopped in for breakfast, very pleasant young woman directed us in, took our coffee order. I had the country fried steak& eggs special. Quite tasty. My friend wanted the homemade corned beef hash, but was a bit disappointed. He’s particular though, having grown up in his family’s diner. Your mileage may vary.

This spot is a little Hidden Gem. We been living in walnutport for a year and been trying local spots in the area. We kept being told to go here. So for Mother’s day we tried it and my whole family loved it. The food is awesome and the restaurant is clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Now the only down side is the 1st time we went there the server took forever with everything. The 2nd time the service was a lot faster. So it might have been a fluke. But we still enjoyed it and highly recommend. I’ve included pictures of both times we went . 1st time was dinner 2nd time was breakfast..

OMG Bert’s has the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Specifically this rib eye version on a brioche bun. The fries were crispy and the cream cabbage was of the perfect sweetness. Seriously, this little joint is da bomb. My wife and also shared a warm brownie sundae for dessert. Highly recommended.

This is a great diner. The wait staff were all more than helpful, courteous, and friendly. The food was good and so we’re prices. The restaurant itself was very clean and also really big. There are a number of sections that I’d guess are for banquets or busy events. Really nice place!

I stopped here to take a break from driving, 1 waitress working. They had a big group to n back room, it took 20 minutes just to get a drink and almost another hour to getour order taken and getiur food. Food was average it’s a nice little place but they have to get more help.
