Many good authentic Mexican food choices, as well as American dishes. Restuarant has a family environment feeling with friendly people and good seevice. Always busy and popular.

I’ve been going to Alonzo’s since the 70’s and their food seems to get better with the savory of time just like fine wine, they serve Chorizo and eggs, Menudo, Spicy pork breakfast, As these are a few of the dishes that made Alonzo’s famous in the Greater Sacramento area, Come on in and enjoy a meal in their bigger and better restaurant, with ample parking located in. the Fruitridge Manor shopping center

Haven’t been here in years and I’m sorry I’ve missed out on great food. I had the carnitas. I am always skeptical when it comes to that pork but let me tell you I was very very pleased. It was exactly what I needed to start my Sunday. This will be my go to spot for now on. Price was cheap and I was served with politeness and genuine smiles.

We took a shot and drove up to Sacramento to try this restaurant out. It was worth it. The Menudo was killer and on point. Service was top notch. Always asking if we needed something ! However I didn’t give them five stars because. The Micheladas we ordered needed a little working on. Still good but needed some work. And if you’re going to serve menudo that good you should have home made tortillas… over all I will be coming back for that menudo… they killed that department.

Alonzo’s has been around forever, I haven’t been here for some time now they moved down the way to a bigger place the wait was pretty long (it was a Saturday) and it was busy but we got seated the food was still as good as I remember I ordered the chorizo plate & my wife had the traditional breakfast both .

Hand brunch there today with my son daughter-in-law and wife, daughter. Haven’t been there for at least 15 years. The food was pretty tasty I was surprised. We met the owner who is Norwegian I believe she said. And yes I would go back for lunch or dinner. If you’re in the neighborhood give it a try I think you will like it.

I’ve been going in this place over 40 years with my parents and my children they used to be located down by Yankee hardware now they moved and I still go in there. I knew the kids parents parents . this is the only Mexican restaurant I will go to. There is no other ones I like the best food in town. I give it a 10.

At first the service was going ok. They got our drinks and order right away. I’m giving a 3 because I should have known better than to order pozole from a restaurant who offers it daily.. but this place supposedly had great reviews.. it got the job done but, definitely had a off taste the entire time. My husband’s ham breakfast burrito was the same. He was hungry and it got the job done.

Wow! Talk about wonderful. Down in Sacramento for son’s brain surgery, got a small break and wanted breakfast. I could not have asked for better food, positive customer service and did I say awesome food! I very highly recommend this place for breakfast. I had Chile Verde and eggs. Wow
