The food here was pretty good. I ordered the veggie omlette (could have used some salt & pepper). I love boursin cheese, though, so that was a nice flavor to add! My husband got the BLT – it was good. My fries were hot, but his were not. They were short staffed but hustling. It was quite chilly, too. The decor was boring – white and words. Overall, it was a good stop on our breakfast/brunch tour of Omaha.

Great location for brunch – I’ve been a couple times and there has never been >10 minutes wait. Their dishes have a southern spin and plenty of good Evans specialty items. We got the chicken fried steak, omelette, breakfast flatbread, GE breakfast pie, and banana Nutella pancakes. Everything was fabulous and portions were large with plenty to take home. The GE breakfast pie and the homemade pop tart were the star of the show.

Truly this place does Nebraska proud. Stopped in for breakfast, was pleasantly surprised by the serving sizes as well as selection! Had Nebraska Bene and extra side of cheesy grits. Both were amazing dishes! Eggs Benedict with short ribs, roasted tomatoes and sautéed spinach covered in hollandaise and a balsamic glaze. Cheesy grits were very creamy, you can taste a blend of sharp cheddar and what I suspect is Gouda combined with grits near perfectly cooked that I have only experienced down south. My server (Vanessa) offered to let me sample the grits before I ordered them. I see why she was so willing. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for good food. Third pic is brand mark on the table. I love how this establishment shows their Nebraska roots not only in hospitality but also in the decor.

First time here. Walked here while I had my car detailed and grabbed brunch on a Sunday. Had the Acapulco Bene, which is eggs Benedict swapping out the Canadian bacon for a Chorizo patty, and adding avocado slices. That come with a choice of hashbrowns, tots or dressed greens. I chose the greens. My greens were a little over dressed, but other than that, everything was great.

Ok so I walked in and there were about 20 people and no staff up front so I waited 20 minutes at the door to be seated. About 5 minutes a lady walked out and was helping other customers but she didn’t acknowledge me at all. Then she went to the back and no one still came out. Then I seen another lady and she didn’t speak or seat me either. Finally a lady came out to seat me but did not say hello or was pleasant. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes for them to take my order. I got my food, it looked great but I asked for bacon on my garden omelet and I couldn’t see it or taste it. Plus my pancake was kinda burned. The coffee was mostly foam. More customers came in and they waited at the door too for awhile but after I counted servers in the front , there were 5 but they all liked hanging out in the back. I had to suggest that a customer was at the door for them to seat these people because I’m nice like that. This is a place of business no one should be waiting long at the door. The food was ok not great. My server was not that nice. I told her about my bacon and she gave me a military discount instead of taking the bacon off. The bacon was more than that military discount but I still tipped her well because I was still getting served. Not a good experience for my first time. I will try them again and modify, not a bad place but service needs to get better

I enjoyed the corned beef hash. The hollandaise sauce was much thicker than I’ve usually had but tasted good. The gluten free pancake was excellent.

We just stopped in here on a whim. After a short wait, the friendly, & really funny, hostess sat us. We were waited on right away by a very nice young lady. We ordered, and after a short wait, our food arrived. We were absolutely blown away with the food! It was all so delicious & filling. We will be back! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere, and the prices were very reasonable.
