Okay, well I was really looking forward to the Meatloaf dinner and sadly it was mediocre. The green bean’s, really seemed like they were just straight out of the can no love added to them. The meatloaf consistency was really great just needed a bit more love “flavor or seasoning”. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the best part which helped the meatloaf. We also had the Sweet Potato fry’s, a sauce would be a great addition to those; try a spicy aïoli sauce. Fried shrimp basket for $21 was underwhelming and the fries were dirty looking, maybe change the grease. The drinks were awesome. The band that was present was cool atmosphere better, drinks are great. Yep, I’ll come again for the drinks.

French fries has to be cooked more still cold on the inside , poor waiter service she forgot to simply give me a straw the waiter came un-prepared to service me took to long to give me a refill , I asked to use the bathroom all the employees are sitting on the bench doing nothing just laughing as a kitchen and waiter everyone should be staying busy. I went into the bathroom to see dirty dry paper whites that’s wet all over the bathroom sink very unsanitary. Food was basic do better !!

The food was just “ok”. My wife had the lobster Mac and cheese. It tasted like Cracker Barrel Mac and cheese from a box with some lobster on top. My lamb sandwich was a bit on the dry side. My son did enjoy the crab cakes.

My wife and I visited the Golden Rooster for the 1st time today. Friendly staff, nice seating area with a small bar in front. Both of our meals were very good. I had the Country Chicken with mashed potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Very reasonably priced. We will be back to try breakfast.
