Solid Japanese Steakhouse with all aspects worthy of 4 stars and if they chose to put in some extra effort they could rate 5 stars. Service was fine and was closest to 5 stars but besides the food you come to this style of restaurant for entertainment and atmosphere, well this is where 4 stars was generous. Cooks were mailing it in though not terrible but food was good but show not so much. The restaurant needs some refreshing as it felt like a dated Chinese restaurant and we all know what that looks like. Spend some dollars on refreshing your look and press your cooks to put on a better show.

Well 3 Stars means I will try this place again. However I am giving them an extra star due to the fact that I ordered something that is not Sakura’s forte. I ordered an appetizer and side of fried rice. Neither were very good I am sorry to say. My appetizer was soft shell crab, see pics. For some reason this was flattened thinner than a McDonalds cheeseburger patty and deep fried with a lot of breading and little to no meat. Because this was overcooked the flavor was simply burned dough/ chips tasting.
