We enjoyed a Sunday brunch here! The food was very delicious. Portion was not huge and the price was reasonable. This is the only place we’ve been to that accommodates indoor smoking, which is old school! The non-smoking area seems like a nice area for kids.

Food was good diner style. The pork loin is hand breaded there,hot crispy and good. Had the Monterry Chicken and it wad juicy and tasty. Our server was friendly and helpful. This has a smoking and non-smoking side, we didn’t notice a smell from the smoking side.

Would of have gave four stars but the portions were kid size. I have a small appetite and still didn’t get full. The pic is of both taco salads before anything was eaten. Tasted good, just no where near enough for an adult. I see why it’s $5.99 Kids meal prices

Best breakfast place we’ve tried, and it’s served all day! Finally found good biscuits & gravy! Highly recommend, the right side is smoking, left door is non – I hate smoke smell, but the air was clear on the left side! We will be back!!!

This is a hidden gem for sure! We are so glad we stopped through while passing the area, very reasonably priced, friendly staff, old time small town diner feel. Not a place to grab a beer, but they make up for it with non smoking and smoking sections.

This place was fantastic! Straight out of the 1980s! We loved it!!! The staff was great and on the job, the food was amazing! Help support these small family owned diners to keep them alive! We will definitely be going back again! I got the country fried steak…..and sweet baby Jesus they use sausage gravy on it! Win win…..also they have great southern sweet tea!

I had the pork chops, cottage cheese, and an iced tea. Walking in, they still have a smoking section which you can obviously smell in the non-smoking section. The waitress was fine, pleasant, and made conversation. The pork chops were good sized but one of them was purple in the middle and neither had any seasoning at all. Had to slather them in steak sauce just to choke it down. Also, dont wander in here thinking you are in the 21st century, they tack on 3.99% if you use anything other than cash to pay.

Ordered the BnG and ham steak w eggs, both surprisingly large portions and exceptional flavor. Fast friendly service and both smoking and non sections. What a gem! Makes me sad i live so far away but i will eat here whenever in the area!

I went to Ma & Pa’s Kettle in Claycomo for breakfast and I enjoyed the food. They have a good selection of American dishes like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and french toast. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was tasty and filling. The service was also great, the staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable for the portions. However, I was disappointed that they still allow smoking inside the restaurant. The smoke was bothersome and made the place smell bad. I think they should ban smoking. Ma & Pa’s Kettle has good food and service, but they need to improve their air quality.

I think resturants with smoking sections kind of gross me out … but we went due to the reviews. Service was decent. Food was OK. Not sure I would be back but we always try to visit locally owned businesses in every town. My kids loved their burgers though
