My boyfriend and I used to love Pelican Jos, but lately we’ve been consistently disappointed with the quality of food. It’s hard to justify supporting a local business when the $20+ specialty pizza you ordered comes with barely any toppings. The garlic knots are still tasty, but for pizza we’ll be looking elsewhere from now on.

We used to love this place and didn’t mind paying more for a better pizza than the big chains, but lately it’s been going downhill. The last time I ordered it looked like someone had chewed on the pizza, and the pieces were cut into absurd sizes. The cheese bread was so oily on top it was hard to pick up, only to discover it was completely raw in the middle.

I was in Milliken for business and decided to try this pizza place. They have excellent pizza by the slice lunch specials. I tried the pepperoni pizza rolls with a fountain drink lunch special. Great value!! They were filled with plenty of pepperoni and mozzarella cheese with a light dough shell. VERY GOOD Sorry no picture of the pizza rolls, I was starving and forgot to snap a pic.

Wish I would have taken a picture of our pizzas – not only did they look heavenly but they also tasted amazing. This was our first time trying the pizza at Pelican Jo’s and it won’t be our last!

We eat here at least 2-5 times a month, typically we have decent food from here. Today I spent $4 just to literally throw it in the trash. I am super disappointed this would be sent out, as I’m sure no one else would want to eat rotten lettuce.

The salads were big and delicious and the pizza looked good as well. My kids also enjoyed the wings.

Update: Today I was contacted by the store manager. I appreciate that she took my complaint seriously and said she was going to have a meeting with everyone to ensure this type of behavior will no longer be tolerated. With that said, I will give them another chance because I do like having them so close to ho, the food is always good, and I prefer to support local business than a corporation.

This used to be very good but now stay away. How can you serve Costco frozen pre-made and expect a 30% tip. What a joke

Perfect casual but delicious pizza joint! A gem in Miliken. And they have great lunch specials.

It was so disappointing. The pizza was so undercooked. You could taste the rawness of the dough. This is the third time in the last 3 months Pelican Jo’s in Milliken has done a terrible job. Previous times the garlic knots were so salty they couldn’t be eaten. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for the boys that looked like somebody put the pepperoni on with their feet. The pizza had pepperoni on about 2/3 of the pizza. It wasn’t even cut either. It is quite pricey and I expect better. . . The way it was a year ago. I hope they figure it out. At this time I would much rather have Little Caesar’s. They are delicious, affordable, and higher quality.
