First time trying this. They came up to Winnfield and wanted to support them for sure. Tacos were the best ones we’ve had here. Definitely worth it. Non stop line and worth the wait. Pricing was a little confusing, tacos were 14$, carne asada chimichanga on the menu was 14$. But our total was 35$. I wouldn’t expect carne asada to add that much, initially i thought they said 30.05. Aside from that, definitely will go again if y’all come back!

Well first started with raw eggs on my burger went back and idk what they did but I’m pretty sure he just recooked the egg because I still had raw egg on the bread and fries and now to be even worse they blocked me from there facebook page

Honestly, I had expectations after seeing these tacos on YT… The presentation was ok but the taste wasn’t there enough for me. The birria was looser than I expected and wasn’t as spicy as I would like it to be. I assumed it should have been more concentrated due to the 3 peppers every recipe has listed. Seemed more like stew IMO. Also, $14 is too much- maybe $12 total for pricing.

I have been wanting to eat at Hijo’s for so long and it was everything I had hoped it would be. The birria tacos were delicious and tender. And I can’t pass up trying elote (street corn) so I tried the elote over fries and it was great. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Today was my first day trying this place out on my “cheat” day and omg I will definitely be back. The Taco de birria is everything! It was $14 and worth every penny! They are definitely the best tacos I’ve tasted.

This was so bad. I’m from the Los Angeles and know how real birria tacos are supposed to taste this did not taste anything like birria. It tastes like old beef stew with no seasoning. So selfish with the onions and cilantro too. Even the worst I’ve had in LA doesn’t compare to how bad this was. If you’ve never had birria before you might be deceived into thinking it’s good. So overpriced as well I’ve never paid that much for tacos in my life even in LA (an overpriced city). Save your time and money and just try to make it at home.

0 stars! Do NOT waste your money the food was cold, rice was over cooked, shrimp was gooey and the chicken was dry and stringy. Totally over priced! I payed over $30 for two meals that ended up in the trash. Do not let these good reviews fool you! Also they don’t accept card payments. Order your food at El Paso or Pedro’s it will be cheaper and better!
