In town to teach a few seminars and my friends invited us to join them for dinner here. They were super busy, and were on top of their game. Our server was friendly and was Johnny on the spot. The food was great, the drinks were tasty, and the environment was awesome. Would totally recommend stopping by if in the area!

We really liked this place and their atmosphere! The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. We went on a Saturday night around 8:30pm (they close at 10:30). Our server (MIGUEL) was very unpleasant. He barely gave us the time or day to order walking away super fast each time and going to sit at the bar between our order and food. He rolled his eyes at us when asking for a refill, had a very rude attitude when we asked (he never came to ask us) for simple things, brought an order out wrong and then tried to make us think it was our fault, and just dropped our check off and said nothing more. I never normally write a bad review and I am usually an over tipper because I have serving experience so I understand that tips are always appreciated. I would say that overall I’d go back to this place but I’d probably make sure Miguel was not my server.

This place is great! Food was delicious. My husband had a shrimp coctail and had lots of shrimp. I had some nachos and they were delicious. Their agua de jamaica was so good and refreshing, perfect for that awfully hot day. Service was excellent and food was out at our table in no time. We will definitely be going back again next time we are in the area.

We decided to give this place a try while in Des Moines and let me tell you we were not disappointed at all. The food was cooked perfectly, had amazing flavor and the quantity is spot on. The queso was rich and creamy as it should be, definitely eat here.
