The food is delicious but they put a spice on the tortilla chips they bring to the table and it was odd. I got the street tacos and they were delicious but they put a little to much sauce on them and it was hot instead of medium or mild. They are so attentive and made sure my drink was refilled. The restaurant is a quaint Mexican restaurant and there were lots of different sized tables

Lily’s cafe is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. The food is always amazing and delicious. Nothing beats it. Every time I’m here I find something else to enjoy but I’m always going to be partial to the Chimichanga. What impressed me the most is even during lunch with a packed room the staff does great at making sure you have what you need. A regular stop for me and my friends. Not to mention the chips and salsa, delicious.

My girlfriend and I went in the morning (even though COVID affected a lot of downtown Fresno) this place is still open. We enjoyed our breakfast. My girlfriend got the American Breakfast and the pancakes were really good.

You really can’t beat actually cooked food. Fast food places used microwaves, frozen foods and questionable meat. Not Lily’s Cafe. Everything is cooked and made fresh. Heck there was even bones in my food, which I wasn’t even mad about. The portions are beyond filling. The free chips and salsa were seasoned unnecessarily. It’s a small spot but it’s homey and enjoyable.

Bright & pretty inside, the wait staff was friendly & attentive. Our food arrived quickly & was so delicious! My shredded beef tostada was heaped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, olives, sour cream & guacamole–it was delicious! Big portions too! Overall, big thumbs up–our first time there, but we will definitely be back!
