This is the BEST BBQ joint in Frederiksburg! You can’t really go wrong with anything you order. From the gochujang ribs to banana pudding. Yum! The staff is friendly and welcoming and the place just has a really good vibe.

Would give it 10 stars if I could. The creative combo of Korean gochujang and Texas bbq, accompanied by delious side of kimchi fried rice and spicy cucumber salad. Their pork ribs and brisket are to die for. Also tried their Sat special Texas tweenies, which is basically jalapeños and cheese wrapped in bacon. Taste amazing and I will be back!

Absolutely amazing barbecue! The brisket Has a wonderful bark, great smoke flavor, and so tender It helps your teeth chew it, lol however, it is GOD awfully expensive, got a half a pound BRISKET and NO SIDES and no drink for $21! They are obviously more proud of their barbecue than I will ever be! And the owners wife absolutely ignored me, and my wife, when we came in, and there was nobody in front of us, or behind us, she was just doing other things behind the counter, and didn’t even say welcome. As good as their barbecue is, we will not be back! There are other good barbecue places in town, and in Kerrville that are much better priced and with friendly faces! ** exactly what you see in the picture with The 2 pcs of meat is what they charged us $21 for, minus 1 bite my wife took before I could snap a pic**

My daughter and I arrived early as we heard the “till sold out” happened often there and we didn’t want to miss out. Was a pleasure to meet both Lance and Boo Eaker, they are so friendly and welcoming. Boo gave us an overview of the menu and we ordered a sampling of Gochujang and Pork Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Jalapeño Cheddar sausage. For sides we selected the Kimchi Fried Rice, Borracho Beans, Potato Salad, and Korean Cucumber Salad. We also tried the soup Pozole…the special for the day.

Amazing BBQ with sides that can stand alone! A bit out of the crowded Fredrickburg center so easy parking . Lance, the owner personally greets you and cuts up the meat portions! Brisket at $16 1/2 pound reasonably priced and ribs (kiminchi) and regular amazing. If you haven’t tried it, go! Say hi to Lance for me!

Fantastic Texas BBQ! I really enjoyed the pork ribs. Pepper forward and something a little different, maybe the wood choice? Perfect bite. It’s been years since I had anything close to Korean food and loved the kimchi and fried gochujang ribs. The Eakers and their staff are super friendly and the space in the back with the old oaks has a lot of potential. There is also a small coffee shop next door for a nice post-bbq latte! This will be a frequent stop when in F’burg.

Awesome Hill Country BBQ with a Korean Flare. Brisket and Beef Dino Rib were excellent examples of Hill Country bbq at its best. Great salinity and pepper, heavy bark, melt in your mouth tenderness. Pork ribs had a Korean flare to them that puts them far and above most we have had in the area. Homemade sausage was popular with the kiddos. Kimchi and kimchi fried rice fun sides not typical of our area. Owner and staff all very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Basically, I like meat. So I’ve eatten to a lot of barbeques in the last 10 years living in Texas. The barbeque here is the best barbeque I’ve ever eatten. Barbecue with a red chili sauce is probably only available here. Besides, the banana pudding here completes your perfect meal. The pudding for adults made and served by the owner herself was much better than the famous one in Manhattan I tried. Next time I will take a dozen of pudding with a couple pound of brisket and others.

We tried this barbecue restaurant because it was the closest one to our hotel, and we were both happy about it! They boast a Korean infusion, and it was delicious! We split the plate, but we could have eaten more. Yum!
