To be honest, I’m not a fan of smash burgers as a genre. I don’t think the meat has the right consistency and flavor once smashed, but this was my best choice for a burger this afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised. Threw on an extra patty to the double bacon burger because why not. Overall, it tasted good although the meat was definitely more well-done than I like. Smash burgers. They’re a thing. I get it! Fries were tasty and fresh. Great service, reasonable prices. I think I would probably eat at one of these again! Unless there was a Five Guys nearby…

On August 29, 2023 at 1:26pm we tried to place two orders of the Carolina BBQ Burnt Ends burger, however, Kaylin (who was at the register) claimed they were sold out. So, we let the next customer behind us place her order while we looked over the menu to choose something else; since we went into Smashburger specifically for the Carolina BBQ. When it was our turn to order she spoke to us in a very condescending manner. She began by speaking to us like we were children; slow, loud, and authoritative. She instructed us to speak very slowly placing one order at a time which is common sense. When it was my turn to order, I stated I wanted a small order of onion rings with the Avocado Club single patty, she rolled her eyes as if annoyed and spoke to me again like a child and said, “Do you mean the, “HAYSTACK” onions?” Honestly at that point, I felt like she purposely wanted to make me feel as if I am inept. I really want to to point out that, whether I said “Onion Rings” or not “Haystack Onions” it does not matter, there only one kind of onions in the menu under, FRIES & SIDES. When bringing over our food, she was not friendly. She walked away with no response as we thanked her for handing us our orders. Clearly, Kaylin is not happy working for Smashburger, her poor behavior (rude and unprofessional) needs to be addressed which I highly recommend retraining on etiquette. There is a strong possibility she is prejudice (Asian discrimination) since I have observed her behavior towards other customers. The food was pretty good, but the bad service out-ways our decision to never return.

Ordered a cheddar smoked brisket burger with onion rings it was very good and the onion rings were greasy but a good tasting greasy. The chocolate shake I had was also very good it was better than the other food court options in that mall

This place is pretty small and it does have a seating option. Although the food is a little pricey I got a MILITARY DISCOUNT. And saved about $7 dollars. There was a few things with my burger and they took care of it right away. Staff is pretty much on top of things when it comes to customer service. For a fast food burger place it’s not a bad choice. Please hit like if you like my reviews!!!

There turkey deluxe burger is really good! Well portioned. Unfortunately the fries are not always hot. Also they act very cheap if I ask extra ketchup for fries! That’s the reason for 1 less star. But they are always friendly and it has a great place to sit! Overall Recommended store.

burger was good but really really salty, but that’s likely just an issue of my own perception. milkshake was really good, i’ve never had a place do the whole “extra leftover shake in the container” thing so that was really cool to see. the onion rings? fantastic. i will revisit solely to buy the onion rings en masse

I would have put a 3 star but there was a worker with glasses that proceeded to take out the trash then open the fridge and take out food having already used a dish rag. Kinda disappointed about the cleaning standards, just because Covid is over doesn’t mean you drop hygiene.
