Waited about 45-50 minutes for a table outside on the sidewalk on a Sunday late morning/early afternoon. Definitely should have called ahead, especially since it was incredibly hot outside. The food was tasty- one of the most flavorful breakfast sandwiches I’ve probably ever had (the sprouted grain English muffin). The Farm Toast (which is just fancy French toast) was also delicious, but a bit too rich for my taste. My sister and I split both of these dishes, which offered the perfect amount of both types of flavors. My mom ordered the grits and enjoyed them, but she was surprised when she found that there was cheese in it, because I don’t believe it said so in the menu. Not a bad thing if you like cheese.

Had breakfast here with my parents and we loved it! We got to the restaurant right at 8 when they opened and there was a line outside the door already, which made me intrigued— and I was NOT disappointed! The food was phenomenal, service was smooth and fast, and our server Wendy was the loveliest lady. She even brought us these delicious little ice cream sandwich desserts (last picture) on the house! We will definitely be back here every time we visit my sister in college 🙂

It’s a beautiful place. They have a very good decoration with the plants in and out. if possible, have a table outside because inside is very noisy, kitchen and customers both making a lot of noise . I came here because of the high reviews on google. On a Saturday we waited for about 40 minutes to get a table. Maybe it’s reasonable to book a table in ahead. The food is not bad, but we spent more than what we expected. I would say it’s good place to go if you haven’t been there, and remember to reserve a table on weekends.

This recommendation to this restaurant will not do it justice. First, you better call ahead and make reservations. Also, do it before the day you plan to visit. This place gets packed quickly. I know I always wait until the end of my recommendation to talk about customer service but I need to highlight the service here. The person who took our reservation was so nice. We told her (voicemail) that we were from out of town and she called back and said, “We want to accommodate you. We want you to try our restaurant.” We are so thankful she did. The lady at the door was great and always greeted me by name. She was awesome. Our server?! Cyris was amazing! Honestly, the best server we have had in a long time. He was fast, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and very generous. Cyris made our time in Songbird unforgettable. He’s an awesome human. Okay, now the amazing food! Songbird was some of the best brunch food we have ever had! Cyris even offered us some samples of wonderful dishes to try. This restaurant (feels like a friend’s kitchen) it truly farm to table fresh and delicious. Everything we ordered we shared and enjoyed. This place is highly recommended and if you have to wait to get in, wait. It is well worth it.

Enjoyed breakfast. Liked the place. It is difficult to order al a carte for breakfast as most of the breakfast items are in groupings. These are delicious. However, it makes it difficult to accommodate special diets, like no dairy or diabetic.

TLDR: The Songbird is a delicious, quirky spot with limited seating.

This is a great brunch spot with lovely outdoor seating. Portions were large and the drinks were on point. We had the breakfast tamale (so good!), the lox, and lemon poppyseed pound cake. We’d recommend all! Vegan options available.

Food is on the pricier end but tasted great! Got the frittata, farm toast and yogurt parfait. The frittata was slightly salty but the farm toast and parfait were extraordinary! They were the perfect amount of sweetness and tasted very fresh. The parfait came out as a sandwich with a frozen yogurt filling and tasted amazing. Our server Antoine was also phenomenal!

We were in town for a baby shower- my beloved nephew and his wife are having their first baby, and Songbird was perfectly positioned across the street from our hotel.
