This was the second time I had food from El Maguey. The first time there I got my order to go and was treated so kindly and with such quick service to get our order to us that I wanted to go back when I had the time to eat in their dining area. Sometimes when you go to a restaurant the second time, you aren’t always as happy with the food or the service, but I was nicely surprised to find that this restaurant is consistently wonderful in all areas from their polite service to their excellent food to the great prices for good sized portions. Both times, we had enough food left over for another meal and left the restaurant full! I will definitely be going back, and I even got some of their business cards to share with friends and family so they will also be able to call El Maguey their favorite Mexican restaurant as well!

A very casual authentic Mexican restaurant. They are very friendly and hospitable. Our children enjoyed tacos and chicken nuggets. My husband ordered the Pollo Loco Plate. It was very nice. It had broccoli, mushrooms, onions with rice and beans. He very much enjoyed it. I myself ordered a Mexican Chicken Salad. The chicken was grilled and seasoned perfectly. For a family of 5 we ate there for 35.00 excluding our tip. We will definitely come back.

Food was over cooked and too hard to be eatable only ate a bite but the beans were heated up from a can at least that is what it tasted like. Paid 42 for something I had to give to the animals. 3 meals were all bad.will not be going back.

Enjoyed our dinner here. The service was excellent and our food was good. The salsa for the chips was great. They claimed to not serve alcohol on sundays but they’re in Anderson county which now allows it. But otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.
