We went here for an early breakfast and it was a great experience! The service was very fast and our waitress was super friendly. I recommend trying the Banana Nut Bread French Toast. It was very delicious! In addition, they had a special vanilla/Irish cream coffee creamer that was phenomenal! Loved this place for breakfast and will definitely be returning.

The food was great but the wait was ridiculous, regardless online waitlist, you need to be within 7miles distance in order to get on the list and by the time you arrive there’s still 30min wait. Sigh… I wonder probably just show up in person would’ve been faster. Staff were friendly and coffee was delicious. Only came here once because it was closer to the event place we had in SA.

Had a lovely time for that most part. Server was Susan. Have not been here for a while, not since they moved across the parking lot. A little unnerving, since the inside is very similar if not almost identical to where they were before! They were packed as always, but, again as always, were expeditious with getting people seated and orders out. Ambiance was a little hectic, lotsa kids around this morning.

This was my first visit. The waitress was fantastic and the food came out rather quickly considering how busy it was. The pancakes are delicious the eggs, grits, and hash browns had no flavor. The restaurant was extremely hot. It’s my first visit so this could’ve been a one time thing.

I love this place but the last eggs Benedict that I ordered, the eggs were way over cooked and the pork definitely could’ve used some seasoning. Someone else at our table ordered eggs Benedict too and they came out perfect. There seems to be a little inconsistency with the cooking. However, the hollandaise sauce was delicious. I wish I had more of that. Their pancakes are absolutely amazing. I am a huge pretzel fan and this place has the best soft pretzel with beer cheese that I’ve ever had. I would come back just for that.

The Brisket Hash was awesome. And Biscuits & Gravy were great. The wait times are pretty long. They use YELP for their waiting list, so sign in there to get your name on it.

Their signature hash was as advertised. Probably best corned beef I’ve had. Very complex and well balanced flavor, definitely different from other places. I guess their 28 day prep time really shows. Pancakes were good for a side, but I’m not expert in them. Usually side order pancakes are left on the table by me, but this time i ate it all.

Perfection. The blueberry pancakes were the perfect texture. And they really were small wild Maine blueberries. Oma’s special was AMAZING. The coffee was great. The service was outstanding.

Went to Magnolia today with my family(boyfriend, three kids ages 8, 5, and 1). First off let me tell you that I have been in SATX for 2 years now and when I first got here I heard rave reviews and tried 4 times to get in but the wait was always over an hour to almost two hours so I just left it to not being able to go. Today we waited an hour and got in so I was real excited to say the least lol. However the food was so subpar that I won’t be returning at all. I ordered the GS Samoa waffle and it did not look like the photo at all. it was sloppy and my cookie had fallen to the side of the whip cream. I was able to eat one triangle and sent my plate back. Whatever that creamy clear/white sauce was… it was disgusting. Threw the whole thing off smh. When the waitress asked if she could take anything I said yes ma’am this.. and handed her the waffle… she just took it and didn’t ask why I didn’t eat it. She asked the previous table about an issue with an avocado and fixed their concern but I digress. I also ordered the corned beef hash and was disappointed at the lack of taste.. it was also real beef not the corned beef hash I was used to but the gravy fixed it up and I added some salt to make it taste better. I ordered my eggs with no cheese… it still came with cheese. They did offer to take it away but at that point we had waited a total of maybe 35mins or more for our food… so I just pushed it off to the side and ate what I could. My boyfriend said cheese grits tasted bland that I didn’t even eat mine after tasting his. My son got the PB&J and said it tasted funny and refused to eat the other half. It looked like the premade kind with the jelly mixed. Don’t even get me started on the prices for milk and lemonade that cost almost a dollar more than hot chocolate smh. Very very disappointed. I tipped the waitress although she wasn’t the best she did try to check on us and brought us napkins and other things we were missing. So she basically did her job I gues… Never again though will I ever return and I will for sure not recommend this place. So sad too but oh well… the pancakes were good tho!
