Biryani house is the best Indian food I have tried ever 30 years that I’ve been eating Indian food! Invite all your friends and family to this fabulous restaurant with the chicken. Curry is absolutely delicious! The service is excellent and warm and the owner comes to your table regularly to chat and to check up to see that everything is perfect. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and appealing. Vegetarian options is spectacular and very tasty! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family and acquaintances. Invite all your friends and experience what delicious traditional real Indian food taste like at this restaurant. The Best in the Bay!

This is a belated review — I ate here over a year ago. But I still remember how Biriani House dealt with my food allergy with care. Sadly, I cannot eat onions, which means I can’t eat most Indian or Pakistani dishes. But the owner or manager went out of his way to bring out a fish dish especially for me. I could also have the chicken tikka masala, which I enjoyed. Cannot comment on other dishes since I couldn’t eat them. But I was with a large group and everyone seemed happy with the food. The portions were also generous.

Really wonderful and superb dining for a very reasonable price. We had the lamb biryani which was very tender and good. We also had the eggplant which was also excellent. Finally the tikka masala was the star and we used the sauce on everything! The garlic naan was one of the best we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

As a native biryani eater, I know when biryani is out of this world or trash. This…. THIS IS AHMAHZING! I loved every bit of it. There is no good biryani place in sacramento. We drove all the way to SF to try this. I was a little skeptical at first but once I got to know Sam and when he shared his background, I had to give this a shot.

Amazing food! Stopped in for lunch during my first visit to San Francisco. I ordered the lamb kabob and some garlic naan. The naan is cooked in a clay oven and comes out amazing. After my meal, I was treated to a wonderful cup of chai. I would highly recommend visiting Biriani house.

Had the fish biriani since assumed that owing to the name of the restaurant, their birianis would be the best. It happened to be very mediocre. The rice was great but fish was overcooked. It even had a whole lot of scales left on the skin . And they didn’t give any raita as a side which Indian and Pakistani restaurants always give with birianis as default even though they charge > $21 for their expensive birianis. Disappointed

Stopped into Biriani House mainly because I needed the bathroom but man was I surprised. I’ve travelled India extensively and found the chicken tikka masala to be outta hand. I ordered extra spicy and the flavor was to die for. They aren’t messing around here
