Pretty good sushi spot, near pentagon mall. Large bar area and sushi counter. Overall some of the rolls were okay and some where a little to warm when served. The spicy tuna sushi to me was to spicy and masked the tuna taste. I really liked the seared tuna belly over rice helped soak up the fatty taste a bit. Service was okay, maybe we had a newer server who didn’t know where the uni, and what type wagyu they had but they were quick for service and checked in once. Overall I liked this place Ill check out there other locations as it’s a chain restaurant and see if quality changes between locations.

We decided to treat ourselves and get the nigiri and sashimi sushi boat (64 PC). No regrets, the fish was high quality and super delicious. There was a good variety and luckily 4-5 pieces of each so everyone at the table was able to try everything (4 people). We also got the sunset, spicy mango and cherry blossom rolls. Honestly the rolls were just okay, we were more impressed with the sushi boat quality. The rolls were not bad, just not amazing.

Kusshi is some of the best reasonably priced sushi around! Their happy hour is fantastic and the fresh fish is truly the star of the show. I usually get the chirashi, which can be hit or miss other places but is consistently fresh and delicious here. Can’t recommend enough!

I enjoy coming here. The customer service is top tier and the establishment is always clean. The food is always amazing and fresh. This was my sister’s first time here and she enjoyed it.
