It is a standard mall food court experience and it’s fine. The food is fine and passable, but nothing special. The chow mein is literally just spaghetti noodles so that’s a bit sad. It was fine.

I buy food here all the time. Their prices keep changing and nothing is ever fresh unless you go right when they open. Now today my chicken was nothing but cartilage. The bourbon chicken was old and dry. The rice was mushy and was like clups of rice. Like I said I eat here alot but today took the cake this food was trash I ate two bites and it was just disgusting.

Well, I went to Cajun Cafe at the Meriden Mall for lunch for the first time. I found the food to be tasty and it was pretty good. The portion for the price is worth it. For less than 10.00 you get rice or noodles and 2 sides. I couldn’t see or taste anything regarding the bad reviews. I’ll definitely be going there again.

Do NOT eat here!!!! I have eaten Cajun food many times so I found them and bought their food for the first time and did not like it. I thought they were just about to close when I first tried their food so let’s give them the benefit of a doubt. So I tried it again a second time and the carrots and peas in the rice were hard and ice cold, and they do NOT put enough sauce with the bourbon chicken. I love the bourbon chickens spicy and sweet sauce which They simply give you the dry chicken and I’m assuming they save the sauce for another day because they DO NOT put virtually any sauce with your chicken. Save your money, and save your toilet paper because the diarrhea was insane both times I have eaten from there. I’m not sure what’s their issue it’s as if their trying to run a business on a budget they don’t have. Not a good place…

Always enjoy going to the Cajun Cafe at the Meriden Mall. I always get a double of the Honey Chicken and the fried rice. They usually give good portion sizes and the food is fairly priced. Sometimes I drive to the Mall just to eat at the Cajun Cafe and then have some pretzel bites at the Pretzelmaker for dessert. Four Stars!

A staple of the Meriden Mall since my childhood, Cajun Cafe has always served up Bourbon Chicken, Honey Chicken, Orange Chicken, you name it. If it’s chicken, they’ve got it. It’s all delish. It’s going to be decently priced. And you’re going to leave the food court full.

Horrible food!! Had blackened chicken caesar salad. HORRIBLE! MAYO for dressing… Chicken was disgusting not even sure it was chicken!! Never ate here all the times I go to this mall and I NEVER will again!! Lettuce was old and wilty!! Feel sick now!
