I am very upset with this meal. The Mac and Cheese tasted like the cheese was burned. The Sweet potato fries tastes freezer burned and the breading on the tender fell off in the sandwich the bread was still frozen and hard. The best thing was the canned soda was nice and cold. Not worth almost $20!

Had a great experience trying out Rooster’s Chicken & Waffles tonight. We ordered primarily chicken and waffles and mozzarella sticks. The coating on the chicken is amazing and crunchy with moist chicken. The fries were perfectly seasoned and the mozzarella sticks were fried perfectly too. Everything balanced out with the delicious waffles which have the crunchy bursts of sugar in them. I highly recommend this as a chicken sandwich and tender stop in Wethersfield!

Wish I could give 0 stars. I was initially excited to find a small business that made fried chicken. I ordered a 2 PC with Mac n cheese and a roll. The chicken was so over cooked I could barely bite into it and I didn’t think “fried chicken ” could even be that dry. Seasoning was bad, idk maybe just overcooked, the Mac n cheese looked like Mac n cheese, but tasted like noodles with BBQ sauce somehow. The roll was half way edible but still dry af. If they weren’t closed by the time I could get back I would demand money back. places like this are what make me lose faith in small businesses. I should have known when I walked in and my shoes were sticking to the floor to ask for a refund immediately. Beware if you order through “menufy” they don’t refund or resolve any issues. So if a company uses them just be aware.

If I’m honest you’re the best thing that I actually enjoyed with the twist fries at different types of sauces. Fortunately was overcooked didn’t have a whole lot of flavor. Sweet potato fries or someone overcooked what taste good twist for eyes were delicious perfectly cooked the bis cuits tasted had like they’ve been frozen for a while b4 cooking . I truly expected more high hopes investing to me was the twist fries and me and types of sauces that were delicious.

The Royal Waffle Sandwich was okay, waffles were fluffy but lacked the crispy outside that I would prefer in a waffle. I would’ve personally used a chicken breast over tenders but, to each their own. Overall not a bad sandwich, it could’ve been better…

I don’t love it. Mac and cheese has no flavor, no salt, doesn’t even taste like cheese just noodles. The chicken was fried well lots of flavor but the wings are HUMONGOUS! I hate big chicken and I explained that. I wish I got tenders. They have to find smaller wings and make a cheese sauce for the Mac. It’s really easy melt a cup of butter mix different cheeses and 2 cups of heavy cream and wala !!

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. This was my first time at a chicken and waffles place and I was pretty pumped to be here. I ordered 5 tenders, a waffle, corn fritters, and Waffle fries. The tenders were tender and juicy but I felt that the batter could have been better. It seemed soggy without much crunch. The sauces were ok, but I ordered and paid for three and only got two. No big deal just annoying. The waffle was ok, but what can you do with a waffle. The waffle fries were nicely done and had a decent seasoning on them. Overall, an ok experience, but I probably wouldn’t return. On a scale of 1-10 this is a 5.1
