Saw this place from out on the street and a waitress outside seemed friendly enough so decided to give it a try. Friendly staff, great food plus a warm & welcoming atmosphere to boot. First time visiting Inglewood (since the ’89 NBA Finals at the Forum ~ Lakers vs Pistons) and April made it even better with her smile and courteous interaction. Next time I’m back this way, I’ll be sure to stop in ~ gets bumpin’ on the weekends !

EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!! So let me first start my saying service was amazing from start to finish with a big crazy party and just my couple date Deanna handled it all flawlessly. Now let me get into this food I got a guava margarita sugar on the rim and I didn’t expect it to be so pretty the taste perfect alcohol to sweet mixture. The salmon was grilled and seasoned to perfection! The BBQ IS DELICIOUS. Them brisket fries !? THE BRISKET FRIES go ahead and go now because they did everything right on them. The fries are seasonful and the meat it as well so tender and juicy. 10/10 highly recommended.

We ordered Chicken links, Beef brisket, Pulled Pork, Beef links, Mac n cheese and beans. Food was very dry, Flavor was mid, felt food was cooked and BBQ sauce was drizzled on top of meat, food wasn’t marinated which made it lack in taste and flavor. Ordered two margaritas those were decent. Oh and we didn’t get any bread with our food . This establishment has room for growth and a very nice ambience but the food could use some improvement.

The food was really good. I got a 2 item 2 side plate… I went with ribs and chicken links. Greens and baked beans. The ribs and baked beans were fire. Ribs were falling off the bone. Baked beans were served piping hot and tasty. I had a guava margarita as well. Highly recommend.

My food was served with smile and fast. The hostess are very friendly. There was a nice crowd in the restaurant but not overly crowded. Thank goodness because we were famish. Enjoy the music while sitting on the patio. I thought it was so cool that each of the hostess delivered your cocktail with a “Cheer’s you!” I thought that was so cool.

“I recently had the pleasure of visit The Wood and it was an absolute delight! The aroma of smoky goodness hit me as soon as I walked in. The brisket was tender, juicy, and perfectly smoked, while the ribs practically fell off the bone. The tangy and sweet BBQ sauce complemented the flavors perfectly. The sides were equally impressive; the mac and cheese was creamy, and the cornbread was just the right amount of sweet. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to go back to the Wood for another mouthwatering BBQ feast!”

The food is good, small portioned sides compared to price, customer service is very poor over the phone almost feels like I am calling someones cell phone who doesn’t work in the restaurant, they don’t allow requests or allergy notes on the delivery app, when you call to make the allergy request they give you the toughest time arguing with you and are not helpful at all. Such a bad look. The brother will argue with you like he doesn’t have a business to run. Brother hold yourself accountable. All these people in comments are not impressed with your customer service. Take some accountability. Take a class or something, you making your business look bad.

Service is trash! If your establishment wants to position itself as a high end BBQ restaurant start with getting professional uniforms for the staff. The bartender was dressed like she’s prepared for a fight to break out at any moment. Also, the quality of the food and service do not reflect the inflated prices. I’ve had better BBQ from a food truck in Compton.
