Always drove by this place but never stopped to try it. So glad we did. We tried different items on the menu. I didn’t take pic of loaded fries because they didn’t last. Fries were delicious!!! And the size was reasonable for the price.

My friend wanted pizza, I wanted a burger and both of us wanted dessert. Dough City met all of our expectations! The customer service was top notch as soon as we walked in the door. The menu was explained in detail and all of the food was delicious. That burger bun complimented the burger and the pizza crust was perfect. The sweet tea was so good as well as the ice cream. You should definitely check them out!

I typically love this little spot, but tonight was a huge disappointment. Ordered a build your own pizza small size, out of 4 meats i found maybe a few pieces of 2 kinds of the 4 meats, ordered lemon pepper wings and they were sitting in a puddle of grease… the ranch that came with the wings was less than half a ramekin… I ordered avacado ranch on the side, it was missing. Food was over 30 minutes late, cold and soggy. Pizza was dry and so were the wings. This was just a bad night for them I suppose. But if you know an order is this late to be delivered, why not reach out to the customer to offer some kind of accommodation. Js. Will go back, but for a burger in person.

Food was absolutely top tier. I got the jalapeno popper burger with the jalapeno cheddar bun, it was fantastic. Everything is made in house, the bun was unlike any burger bun I have had anywhere. The texture and taste was perfect. A little sweetness and cheese with a hint of jalapeno. The burger meat was high quality and not greasy, and all the toppings were high quality. I had the garlic parmesan fries as well, they were fresh cut and perfectly topped with the right amount of cheese and seasoning. Unfortunately they were having issues with the pizza oven, so I did not get a chance to try it this visit. The ice cream is also made in house, I had a scoop of the nutty cheesecake. Again, fantastic. Perfect consistency and taste. I live in Michigan and came here while travelling for work. I would come back here just to have this awesome food again.

So after trying this place and $50 later I may not try it again. The service was fast and pleasant. They apparently ran out of buns and only had jalapeno buns which were sweet and drowned out the taste of the burger. The lettuce was warmer than the burger patties and were removed immediately. The buffalo wings were okay. I see the potential but didn’t taste it on this visit. May try something else if I visit again.

I was in Red Oak Texas today and decided to try a hamburger pizza place my wife had tried recently called Dough City Pizza+Burgers. I enjoy a good hot and spicy burger and while in line I saw a sign for a Jalapeno popper burger. Toasted bun well cooked fresh beef patty, cedar cheese, bacon, jalapeno poppers, shoe string onion rings served with ranch sause. It was not hot to me but had a nice spicy taste. The onion rings were a doughy type which are not my favorite style but they were ok just not for me. Very very sweet tea. The employees behind the counter are very nice. Keep in mind the ingredients are fresh and cooked to order so it will not be the quickest place to go on a 30 minute lunch break. However it will be worth it.

I had a burger and Cajun fries. Both were well seasoned. The Cajun fries are fantastic! Service was a little slow but almost all restaurants are slower these days. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back and I recommend the Cajun fries. Oh, I like the cold but it was a little chilly when I went. A light jacket should suffice though.

Let me stop my day to make this COMPLETELY necessary review! I wanted to try a hole in the wall restaurant today and this one caught my eye driving past! Gooooood gravy! I am so glad I did! I looked at the reviews first (obvi) and one of their pizzas looked divine So, I go in and immmmmeeediately I see a Hangover Burger. Any burger with a runny egg is for me! But, I really wanted the Mega Meat Pizza. So torn. But because I’m a foodie, I know how to prioritize. I ordered the burger, cheese fries and ice cream donut and then the pizza unbaked for later! Visually, I almost died when they put it in front of me ….but when I bit into the burger….. my eyes closed. That’s how you know it’s amazing! I know Red Oak is out of the way, but is any distance too far for good food? No! Go. Run. Now.
