There was something off about the fajita beef. I’m not too sure if it was the seasoning or how it was cooked. It just didn’t taste, right?

To-Go Ordered the expensive pint of salsa and received the cup of salsa that you get for free for ordering. YOU CHARGED ME $16 for it. On top of that you gave us double rice and no beans for the half pound fajita orders. Times like these, you take care of the people that order from your store and help keep the doors open. I don’t complain about restaurants because I’ve worked in the industry for 10+ years. But it seems restaurants around here lack the diligence to deliver accurately on the food people spend their money on. Sad times for the food industry. DONT ORDER TAKE OUT HERE.

The margarita blanco was great, strong enough to have an alcohol bite without overpowering the flavor. Service was excellent. The food was really good but definitely on the salty side. Another margarita would have cut the salty down though.

The food was tasty, but expensive. However, service was horrendous because the wait staff seems to be a band of completely untrained teenagers. The waiter had dirty nails and truly gnarly fingers. It was atrocious. Just the thought of him carrying my glass of water shook me to my bones. All of the chips were broken and even made me wonder if they brought chips from another table. After we ate, they didn’t clear the table. All in all, food was good, the staff on the other hand, will encourage me to never step foot back inside the restaurant.

I will not be coming here again. We had a party of 12 so our waitress, Courtney, automatically received gratuity, and it showed. It took an hour to get our food with no update from the waitress. During that hour other people did supply us with multiple refills of chips but our waitress never came back to check on us or see if we needed refills on our drinks. I only drank water and had to ask for a refill. She only checked on us after she brought everyone there food. 3 of our orders were wrong. One fajita order was more that what was ordered so the waitress has to adjust the price to reflect what was actually ordered and not what was given. Another fajita order was less than what was ordered making the fajita that should have fed two only feed one. My father in law ordered cheese enchiladas and got chicken enchiladas. We had cake that we brought and I had to ask our waitress 3 times for plates. All together she ended up with about a $35 tip because of the gratuity. I used to be a waitress when I was younger. I know they work for tips and we usually tip very well but our waitress did not deserve the tip that she got. She knew she was getting her today and she never made an effort to come check on us on top of the lack of service from our waitress and the multiple wrong orders. The food tasted horrible. The Fajitas tasted like charcoal. Way over priced for the quality of food and service. I would not recommend and will not be back.

First time trying El Tiempo. We went for lunch on a Tuesday. Chips, salsa, and the service were great. The food was possibly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had, made worse by the extremely high prices.

Sadly, we will no longer be going to this restaurant. The last 2 times we have been here, the food has been over-salted and the seafood enchiladas had a terrible flavor like the cream sauce or seafood had turned bad. It was inedible. My husband’s enchiladas were a soupy salty mess and my son’s quesadillas were so greasy he couldn’t eat them. All the items are overpriced as well. There are 3 other mexican restaurants within a couple of miles that are way better. This location has struggled for 10 years with various restaurants, and sadly, it seems to be going down the same path again. The service is mediocre at best. The ambiance is great, but everything else is horribly lacking. Sorry for the bad review, but it was just pretty awful.

Last time coming , due to leadership’s inability to run a restaurant business.

Authentic food in The Woodlands, just off the highway. Got chicken enchiladas and Fajitas. The beans were cooked well. One Fajita is enough for a person since the serving size is quite big. Good place for a big company. Visited during a week day for a very late lunch so plenty of space was available. Would visit again.
