I absolutely love this place! Blackjack Pizza has been my go-to restaurant for years and recently they have been my go-to for months. The staff is really cool, food is amazing, and I love how everyone here makes me feel welcomed like they actually appreciate my business. I always recommend this place to all my friends, family, and even people who I don’t even know. For instance, when someone who maybe new to Denver or just visiting asks me if I know if any good restaurants with great food n at a low price, Blackjack on east Colfax is my first choice. One of my go to late night spots. After months of delivering to me, one night they decided to tell me they don’t deliver to my address. I work late, so I understood it being 1.7 miles away and almost midnight. Tonight after waiting for almost 3 hours, they told me I had “multiple addresses” and they brought it to a different address. Where I lived 4 years ago. All delivery information was correct and they never called for drop off or delivery. Please don’t be a late night place if you aren’t reliable to get food from. It’s impossible to get food after BJ closes, and their employees just say “rookie mistake” and basically hang up. Unfortunately I can’t rely on this location anymore.

The pizza is better than any pizza I have had in denver! The staff is awesome. My delivery driver was also awesome. I just moved downtown denver and I eat pizza at least twice a week so this is a big statement! Thank you all at Black Jack!

The pizza was okay, nothing special. We ordered at 4:30 PM, and was told it would be 45 minutes until our pizza was delivered. I called at 5:25 and asked and was told it was “minutes away”, our pizza did not show up until 5:50. One of our pizzas was supposed to be thin but it wasn’t. The salads were okay, not good or great, and we were missing a dressing. If it weren’t for the delivery time my rating would be higher.

The guys on the phone are nice. The delivery guys are nice. The pizza is delicious but more times than not, my pizza is not delivered within 2 hours and if it is, it’s lukewarm. I keep coming back because I DO like the pizza. Today was the first time I asked for a refund. I want to give two stars because I’m HANGRY but I’m not an a hole.

The night time pizza dude way over charged me an when I went to talk to him he was rude as hell. Argumentative, refused to acknowledge his error when it was clearly apparent he charged me nearly 30.00 for an $18.00 pizza. I confronted him in a respectful way but he was totally rude in return. The manager however, was totally professional an refunded me the difference without any problems. My experience with the night pizza dude was deplorable to say the least. I’m a disabled vet on a fixed income so every penny counts which is why I only give this place three stars.
