Glad I found this place. I moved from Chicago to Joliet and haven’t found a good Authentic Mexican restaurant till now. Been wanting a Tampiqueña for a long time, found this place and they had it there. When I tell you it does NOT disappoint you, man, their dishes are phenomenal. Tampiqueña is so darn good!!! If you like chorizo, their Chorizo enchiladas are amazing too! Their “Molcajete” dish is the bomb as well. But their Mango frozen Margaritas are , AMAZING! We got the large one and it was way more than enough for 1 person. Kids ordered chicken nuggets and another one ordered a Carne asada taco and they were both happy with their food. They give you a complimentary soup with your dish order and it’s so darn good. Been going at least once a week and never disappoints. We’ve been having a waitress named Ana and she is wonderful. Very nice personality and recommended us great dishes all the time. Love her energy. She makes us feel super comfortable. We will continue to go back. Definitely recommend this place. Been taking all our friends and so far they all have loved their food and drinks.

Omg. Their food is out of this world! From the chips n salsa, soup, cheese dip (with chorizo) to the dinner! The owner is super sweet and the girl that waited on us. I am so glad I changed my mind on going somewhere else. The same old same old restaurants. Even the prices with food amount is perfect. I pay so much for a tiny cheese dip at pepes or any other Mexican restaurant. Here the amount for $ the price blew my mind! Definitely Definitely recommend this restaurant!!! You will not regret this decision!

First time customers last night. What a great time we had. We went for $5 giant burritos and boy did they not disappoint. Steak, chicken, and Pastor were all amazing. They keep you loaded up on chips and salsa as well as serve you a delicious complementary soup. We also ordered elote which was very tasty. The margaritas were equally as good. The staff was super friendly. It was a cool mexican cowboy type vibe. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.

21$$ For a Carna asada steak.dinner, which was about 5 oz of meat, a scoop of rice, and beans. And a teaspoon of guacamole and lettuce and tomato. Definitely not worth it rather go to elburrito Loco there way better

This place was a one and done for me I went in today (Thursday) for the $6 giant burritos these things are rolled up tacos no flavor skimpy things, the salsa was not good either. I’m mad at myself for wasting my money here.
