Taste of Philly says it all in the name! A fantastic local sandwich shop that carries a lot more then sandwiches. If your looking for a great Philly cheesesteak check this restaurant out! With a wonderful sandwich shop decor reminiscent of Philadelphia. The shop has many well known tourist attractions from Philadelphia adorning it’s walls with the classic black and white checkered patterned tiles through the restaurant. Plenty of seating along with an abundance of booths along the walls make this a great place to dine in. Loved the napkin dispenser on the table as I’m a messy eater combined with a delicious Philly cheesesteak made this a multiple napkin meal. You will have leftovers because this restaurant serves big portions. The waitress who served us was great and so inviting. She came over several times to check in on us and our meal was served just as quickly as we ordered it. This sandwich shop offers many other wonderful options including wraps, grinders, salads, hoagies and sides. The restrooms were also outstanding. They were spacious, clean and well stocked. Check this local restaurant out if your looking for a great sandwich shop with a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere!

K so my sister is a truck driver and has had cheesesteaks from all over the United States— this was BY FAR best cheesesteak she has ever had… We had different variations, & And my brother-in-law went with the club. It’s hard to put into words but we were all completely blown away with the onion rings, fries, club, extra green chili extra onion cheesesteaks, and my dad had a mushroom cheese steak. NEXT LEVEL

Came here for Saturday lunch, they didn’t have the Philly Popper on this location’s menu, but they still made it for me! We ordered Fried Mushrooms, which came out super hot and fresh, they were so good. My Philly Popper was perfect, I got the regular size and still couldn’t finish it, jalapeños were the perfect spice level for a sandwich. My husband ordered the Green Chile Philly, he enjoyed his, he ordered the Large and saved half of it for later. He also got the Cheese Fries, I wasn’t too sure about it because they use Cheese Whiz but they were actually really yummy! Our server was sweet and she was quick! Glad to have a good place to eat on the south side of town.

We normally love coming here at least once or twice a month. The food is incredible and the older lady has great service and is super polite. The only reason I would give it a three star is because twice we have called and once they just said we are closed but the website said they close an hour later but they literally just answered and said we are closed and hanged up not even letting us speak before hanging up. The other time they hanged up while we were ordering and said just step in while we were not done ordering. It’s not the worse place to go but definitely not the best.

I’ve only eaten at the 8th st location before this, and they have the BEST potato salad! Was it a company-wide change to do miracle whip, mustard, and sweet relish in that salad instead of mayo & dill? Or is it only this location? The coleslaw is also made with MW, and it’s just a no-go for us…

Burnt fried mushrooms. On the left is the ones from this location . On the right from the n academy location. Yes, I have that much time on my hands to drive to the other end of town to get something I was really craving. Of course I ate them taste of Philly fried mushrooms are delicious. But ma’am behind the counter, that said that’s how they come out, you were wrong.

First time here. Restaurant was extremely clean BUT the sandwich was below par. Extremely salty tasting and the gross, fake processed cheese was offensive to the palet. For the price, I’d expect to get REAL cheese! Because of the fake cheese the sandwich ended up going in the trash. Oh well. Cross this place off the list smh.
