This restaurant would not make the least accommodation for my plant-based lifestyle. All I wanted was a large dinner salad with vegetables/fruits, all of which were listed as ingredients on their menu. They cook to order so their chef could easily put the ingredients on a bed of lettuce. I wrote a list of ingredients from the menu and handed it to the owner’s wife, Mae. Too complicated, I guess, to make a salad with assorted lettuce, tomatoes, grapes, mandarins, mushrooms and bell peppers, again, all listed as ingredients used on their menu. It was not during a busy time either. 2:10 pm!! I have NEVER had this happen at any restaurant. Obviously, they don’t care to get or keep new customers.

I had such a good time. The house beer was delicious. I consider myself a beer expert and I absolutely loved the house beer. Some of the staff was a bit standoffish but my waitress was on point and friendly. I recently moved to the area and I always see so many people at the brew pub. I liked that they had outdoor misters to cool everyone cause it was a bit warm out. My table didn’t get touched by the misters but I stood up and went over to cool off. The owner seemed a bit frazzled, she was all over the place and seemed to be way too busy. All in all a great experience and I will be back. The food was great quality and tasted amazing.

Top notch pub in downtown Fair Oaks. Has some Japanese menu items including sushi, which makes it unique. Has 4 house beers and other rotating taps. No happy hour. Good size outdoor seating

After a bike ride on the American River and a visit to Nimbus Fish Hatchery. We had such a pleasant time eating and enjoying their IPA’s. My New favorite putter and lucky hat, photo below.

I didn’t recieve food but my beers were handled by Jake and Tory. It was my first time here and have never felt more welcome. I asked for beer and menu recommendations and I was told the best things on the menu. They also told me of their own experiences and how much they love the place and I’m convinced. I haven’t received service like this since the early 2000’s. Blessed be Troy and Jake. Thank you for the experience I will be back soon!! Can’t wait for a new beer and trying a pizza!!

Amazing beer and food. The cherry sour was so good. My wife and I split the Mac & Cheese and a beyond burger. Both were delicious. The service was also great. There was always someone around so we could order food or more drinks.

This place just keeps getting better! The new patio and outdoor dining area is open yet shaded, with generous airflow and fans to keep it cool. The house beers are all still really good, and they have a pretty good choices on tap. The appetizers here continue to stand out, and the service is friendly and there when you need them.
