The best part of the experience was the service. I believe our waiters name was Colton, he was very attentive. We stayed with a bottle of wine and the Cast Iron Carolina Shrimp. The wine was good however the shrimp took a very long time to arrive and they were just okay. A little seasoning would have definitely helped. The waiter did apologize that they took so long. From there I got the CT Burger which sounded delicious based off of the menu description. It’s was good but nothing special, but hey, it’s a burger. My wife got the Chicken Paillard. It came with a salad on top with potatoes and the potato were cold and they were supposed to be because they were kind of mixed in with the salad which threw her off a bit. The chicken itself was good. We capoed things off with two of Gramy’s Oreos which are Oreos dipped in chocolate. They were really good.

We had a wonderful dinner last night on the sidewalk dining area. Highly recommend the cast iron shrimp app as well as the blueberry cobbler. Holden was an excellent server. He took great care of us! And, the happy hour is was an added benefit. Only until 5 but drinks are half price! Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Can’t think of one negative thing I experienced while here. Everything was phenomenal. The restaurant is located in this nice little neighborhood off the main road. It gives a nice summer town feel with the area it’s in. The decor of the entire place is warm and very cozy southern in terms of the vibe. Probably the best service I’ve had while I was in Charleston. For the appetizers we got the spicy mussels which were fantastic. Main course was the pork osso busco which was out of this world. Tender and juicy each bite was like heaven on earth. I got the hangar steak which was a 10/10. This was easily the top restaurant that we went to in terms of overall food quality, cocktails, and service.

Fantastic food in a beautiful setting. Every single thing that came was wonderful and we could not stop eating. We started with popovers with bacon jam which were outrageous. And then the rest came and we ate and ate! So good.

We had a nice meal at Community Table in ION. The beet salad was a good compliment to the fresh pop over bread. I enjoyed the fish of the day a tile pan cooked in a light wine and avocado sauce with heirloom tomatoes.

Excellent cocktails and fresh and delicious food. Our server Kelli was very nice and the service overall was excellent, top to bottom. Really enjoyed the carrot, coconut soup and the Faroe salmon. Would definitely come again.

For a $90+ lunch (includes 20% tip), it was not up to usual par. Fried fish was highly battered and fries were almost burned. BLT sandwich bacon was undercooked and the lettuce was wimpy at best. We’ve eaten here many times, and expect more. AND, Charlie the squirrel was aggressive

Overpriced and underwhelmed- service was spotty and when we asked for extra bread we had to ask three times. It’s a nice setting on the porch with open shutters – so southern with the big ceiling fans going. Drinks were better than the food which was overly expensive for what you got and served course for all four of us at completely different times. Maybe it was an off night, though expected better.
